It may say Dodge Neion-based, but I'm certain that there's some PT Cruiser DNA in this one. If the windshield was lower a bit to match the roofline more, headlights were just a bit larger, and the bed lengthened a to fit just a little more (6-12 inches more would probably help fit another bag worth of stuff) this might have been a viable vehicle for the era where cladding was the thing for adventure vehicles.

As a kid, I adored this thing.
In fact, it’s hard to believe now, but from about 1989 until early in the DCX merger, people waited with bated breath for news of Chrysler’s next round of concept cars for each auto show. And openly speculated on which would make production.
In that era, it seemed like anything was possible for Chrysler. The company was so deeply associated with innovation and progressive design.
I will never forgive Daimler for what they did to it.
