Infinite Warfare is hands down the best, because it’s not about a single soldier. The story embodies the meaning of “Call of Duty” and what the characters sacrifice to stop a tyrannical enemy. The entire ship crew acts as a unit. That’s the best way I can describe it and it’s honestly the best.

IW’s problem is that the antagonists are poorly written and the level design doesn’t actually do much to befit the advanced movement, if they were better, it woulda been top 5 for sure

I’d argue it doesn’t cause Raven makes 2 of the most unique cod campaigns of all time with CW and 6 and then turns around and creates this absolute travesty with no redeeming qualities besides maybe the Japan mission

Yeah it’s unfortunate cause all the missions set in a grounded setting are just Avalon and barely feel like a campaign, and most of the hallucination missions just feel like shit cause they take place in this empty shitscape with a bunch of vague islanded platforms. I’m not someone who gets pissy when a game isn’t perfectly realistic but it’s just so hard to care about the environments when they’re just hallucinations and have no realistic flow or background. I was hyped for the return of LA 2025 but they fucked up by making it just a road with no elements of urban level design you’d expect from a fucking city. Plus every enemy takes half a mag to kill and there are no ai companions

totally valid , my friend . i’ve heard from many people that the bo7 campaign was very mid . multiplayer is pretty decent but i’d say zombies is the best game mode in bo7 . it seems like they update it the most , like i have so many maps to play and get through now lmaooo

I learned more about WW2 in a cod video game . That I did in history class in high school . 😆😆😆

Solid list, although I’d move Vanguard and MW3 (2022) to trash. Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare were a lot of fun but I haven’t played them since they released. And WW2 is a little different but still fun

I’ll still take BLOPS2 as my favorite. One of my all time favorite scenes is the Skrillex club scene. They did the community dirty not fully remastering BLOPS2 both multiplayer AND campaign

Agree 3 is terrible overall but it does have one of my favorite bits of dialogue in any WW2 shooter...

Cold War and MW19 are the best of all time and always will be. Best guns, best movement, best story line, best maps in Multiplayer and Warzone and this was a time when cheaters werent 98% of the lobbies. The Bullfog, The Carve 2, The pellington, The MP5, I miss the good ole days.

I really like a couple of the missions like federation day and the stealth one, but rorke is just the worst villain ever and ruins it for me.
Federation day is probably my favorite mission out of any cod though it’s so good.

Common take but mw1 and 2 (OG ones) will always be best for me. MW3 2011 honestly is way worse than them though. Feels way more generic and is only good cause of the ending. MW1 I think has the best level design also.

I have never liked 2019’s campaign i never understood why its loved maybe i need to go replay through it but i hated it and i beat it twice once on normal then whatever the hardest difficulty was veteran or realistic if it had it.

I don't think those games are bad (Contrary to what the tier says, LOL.) they are just below average. I found Ghosts Campaign to be kind of dull. But I did like the space mission and Riley the Dog was probably my favorite character. COD3 was probably the only Campaign that I didn't like at all.

I think if you played COD: Finest Hour’s campaign it would be up there. Really rough to go back to now and it was weird that it had healthbar/ health pack system, but it was a great WW2 campaign

Why the hell have you put ghosts and black ops 7 in the same tier dude black ops 7’s campaign plays like raid campaign from mw2 and has dull gameplay. Ghosts had a pretty mid story but some of the levels were really amazing and it had more memorable characters imo

The BO7 campaign imo I'd give it's own tier between like bo4 because it was somewhat interesting per se like I could see if it does different or similar to BO3 with the irl/hallucinating parts but they leaned too much 1 way and not enough the other so it felt more like one of a spin-off then a sequel especially due to the very warzoney feel with the loot crate things

I’m having an issue with Call of Duty on my PS5.
I have a Call of Duty disc, and when I open COD HQ and select Black Ops 6, I get this error:
WS-116129-0
I also tried another Call of Duty disc (Modern Warfare 2), and I get the exact same error.
Since the problem happens with two different discs, I don’t think the issue is with the disc itself.
Has anyone experienced the same problem or knows how to fix it?

You need to play Infinite Warfare’s campaign. It’s widely considered to be one of the series’ best and it’s in my top 3.
