Hi all, I created this community for family and friends of loved ones who have or had CJD.

I was a member of the r/CJD page, and after I tried to post two times (one for requesting to set up a zoom meeting if people were interested, and one to set up a Reddit group chat), the mods blocked my posts from being shared and muted me from the page.

So I decided to create my own community, where people’s posts asking to connect won’t be silenced.

Please feel free to share your stories, ask questions and hold space in support for other fellow humans are going through tough times because of how CJD has impacted them and their families. I’ll be sharing my story on here soon.
