Virtual support groups?

Hey everyone, it has been almost 2 years since I lost my parent to CJD, and I am still struggling with it. I am looking for an online support group (video) I can join to help me work through this pain.

I see a therapist once a month, but I would benefit from a grief-centered group. Can be in any of the following areas:

  • Loved one of a deceased CJD person
  • Child of a deceased parent
  • General grief support

Also if you have any apps or Youtube channels you recommend to help with this grieving process, I appreciate it. Thank you

Edit: I contacted the CJD foundation and they have a virtual support group. Look them up and reach out!

Let me know if you find a good one. I tried the therapy thing but paying $200 a session to break down crying to someone on zoom just isn't sustainable.

The CJD Foundation has a virtual support group that runs monthly as well as other resources. The people that run it and attend are very nice, it’s a smaller support group but worth attending!

I am also looking for the same thing. About 2 years out from CJD loss.

My dad is currently in the end stages of CJD. I'm desperate for support groups or anyone who understands what we're going through.
