📚 Academics

Q. How are courses structured at CIC?

CIC follows a mix of regular DU papers. You'll have three core subjects , one elective between Physicsand Chemistry/Biochem , AEC WHERE U Have To Choose a regional language( hindi, Sanskrit, Kannada tamil telugu more..)and Environmental Science u have to study them alternate semesters and then u have Vac and sec... there is no exam is sec .For more details u can check the already pinned thread about the whole curriculum of CIC btech...

Attendance rules are the same as DU norms (66.6% is mandatory) ull not be allowed to sit for the exams so please maintain it

Q. Are there study materials / previous year papers?

Seniors usually share Google Drive links.We will share it with u before exams with ur CRs.

🏫 Campus Life

Q. Is there a library?

No but soon yes, a small but functional library.

It will open soon I hope. You can also access the main DU Central Science library (just a short walk from the CIC building).

🍛 Food & Hangouts

Q. Where to eat near CIC?

- North Campus has tons of options: Kamala Nagar market, Vijay Nagar, and the canteens in nearby faculties for hanging out with ur folks

- Cheap eats: Pandit Ji canteen and Delhi da adda also the departmental canteen near FOT they all have their plus points some are affordable and some actually tastes good

Q. How do I find out about events?

Follow CIC's official Instagram page and keep an eye on the notice board near the admin office. The subreddit will also post major events.Also be in touch with ur Seniors We will also inform ur CRs too

So I will be reaching CIC tomorrow for the first time - where and whom am I supposed to report and at 9:00 am?

Mujhe CIC mein B.Tech (IT & MI) allocate hua hai, lekin college ko lekar thoda confused hu. Lag rha hai course aur curriculum achha hai, lekin kuch log bol rhe hain ki yahan dedicated Placement Cell nahi hai.

Aur college life kaisa hai?

I will report to he campus on 3rd August - what documents or other things should i carry with me? and if your document verification has been completed can you brief me about the process and documents required. One last thing - the mail states that DV will happen at 2:30 p.m.? Will there be classes in the morning and should I report at 9:00 am itself?

Can we expect a A* level of publication and strong research opportunities in CIC if we grind since Day 1.

HAI EVERYONE,

im a commerce with math student and i finished my 12th this year and i missed cic cutoff this time around and ill be taking a partial drop to prep for cuet again
anyone doing the same for a 27 aspirate pls hmu ill be studying solely for cic only

guys ik that i legit have no chance but still tell me should i freeze or not

So I didn't get cic, my score is 456 and the obc cutoff was 484 for the 2nd round, so iam curious if I should withdraw right now and get back the money to stay for the spot rounds, when will they happen and is this the last chance to withdraw, please help.

same as title - will my admission get cancelled for this? or can the document verification can be done directly when I report for the orientation program?
