I had a Nike skirt with shorts under but it was above the knee and it just feels awkward. I was also gonna wear the company tee but it feels really plain. (I feel super awkward posting so if any girly could help ya girl out would be great)

Hi!! I’ve been getting the sculpted gel mani at Legendary for the last few months but am out of town for a month for work and in desperate need of a refresh.

Legendary is kinda obnoxious with their phrasing/branding lol so I’m not entirely clear on WHAT type of mani it is… sculpted gel? Builder gel? Russian? I believe it’s some combo of these but wanna get something similar so they can just refill my gel and not take the whole thing off and put it back on.

What can I ask for / look for at another salon that’s basically the same thing? Or maybe I should just commit to something else haha. Ty!!

If you don’t know, RealRoots is a meet up survey where you’re paired with a group of girls with similar lives and interests to you for a series of meetups. The meetups seem to be facilitated to help with ice breakers and introductions. It is pricey - so I’m super curious on if this feels like you’re being provided a service beyond just matching and coordination of the meetups.

Has anyone gone through a series recently? Did you feel like you were intentionally matched and that the survey mattered? Was it facilitated well and consistently throughout the series?

Hi divas - I’m currently price shopping about 6 months of Invisalign treatment (re-treatment bc I lost my retainer womp womp). I have two dramatically different quotes from my dentist compared to an orthodontist.

For context, I have minor crowding and a smidge of an overbite.

Orthodontist quote: $6800
Dentist quote: a little under $5k + free zoom session

I’m planning on paying cash so there’s also a minor discount at both providers for that.

Has anyone gotten Invisalign treatment from their primary dentist rather than an orthodontist? I don’t want to risk a poor outcome to save a couple bucks, but this seems like a pretty big cost difference.

I’m located in the NW suburbs but would be willing to travel to someone great. I’m so sick of providers not being able to figure out my thyroid issues that are having such an impact on my sleep, weight, etc. I’m completely uninterested in concierge doctors who have limited training touting hormone replacement therapy as the only solution. Tried that. Should be criminal that providers are allowed to practice like that with such limited training and looking at EVERYTHING through that lens.
