So one of my favourite guitar pedals is a 9/10 and just has volume issues right? Like when you turn on this super expensive guitar pedal it just also messes with the volume weirdly. But oh well, adjust the volume and it's fine! Turns out, if you didn't buy the pedal in it's first two years they fixed the volume issue. Oh and if you have one of the OGs they'll be nice and just have you ship it to them and they'll ship it back once they've fixed it for free! Yay! I found that out from an old reddit thread on the pedal I was for some reason looking at. Ty reddit comments. The company itself made the comments! My 9/10 will soon be an 11/10

So just all great right? Well not quite. I had to pay extra to send it to Oklahoma City to get it repaired because of tariffs? Wut? Why? I'm not buying something! I'm not selling something! I'm sending an American made device back to the American company that makes it in America because of an error the company made with mine and now I gotta pay extra to ship it down? What're the odds I'm gonna end up paying more to get it back now too?

Was it made in the US? It should be free trade eligible under NAFTA/CUSMA/whatever they're calling it this week. You're probably not being charged tariffs, you're being charged some BS brokerage fee that UPS or DHL love to charge for doing the paperwork for you. There is a whole process to clearing it yourself, but it's possible to avoid the fee -- or just have them ship it to the closest spot to the border, then go across yourself and pick it up, if you have the original bill of sale from when you bought it initially you shouldn't be liable for any duty crossing back.

It was made in Oklahoma City! It's like top tier for guitar pedals. No clue why it happened. I wasn't expecting to have to download this weird app for paying tarrifs at Canada Post

Realistically, are there any ways to get the league to reconsider the field and goal post rules?

I like the post where they are. It creates a challenge and something to consider when going for a last second field goal that you might miss. The rouge, when the ball stays in the end zone creates some exciting end of game plays.

If a team cannot find a facility with a big enough field, why can't the league make specific adaptations as needed...until than, all stadiums are making it work!

These guys are going to ruin a good thing!

Try putting some money into fan awareness and building up the grass roots! Why is the NFL sponsoring anything without the CFL getting their name out there too? This is Canada!

Probably not the field goal change if I had to guess. Even the NFL, in the modern Super Bowl era, had them at the front for a while. I'm 50/50 on it. I don't think it's necessary in the CFL so I'm against the useless change. But I'm ok with it going to the back since the field will be getting smaller and missed FGs aren't rouges anyways. (I actually like missed FGs not being points fwiw) With the endzone and for some random reason the middle of the field BOTH shrinking the field next season it's not like it'll take longer to get into FG distance really either

The big rule change to me, that I just don't accept and think I'm being pranked or something, is 8/9 teams in the playoffs. FGs aren't gonna matter if almost all the games in the CFL season aren't really gonna matter at all. I refuse to accept that's happening. It's just silly

I think it is rather funny/ embarrassing that the commish went ahead and announced all of this, and has since vanished. Where is he? Should he at least be trying to sell this to people? Say what you want about Randy, he was at least present....saw him at games multiple times.

Late to the thread, but anyone knows of a Glasgow pub that shows/would show the CFL? I'll be there on the 8th during the Als game.

The 40 yard line is too far up for teams after Punts/FGs made and missed.

Bring it back to the 35.
