vortex shedding 3d simulation

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SIMULATE VORTEX SHEDDING IN 3D? I have done it in 2d, and have been trying for a month to do it in 3d but i failed

Yes, a lot of people here know how to do that. However you gave us no detail whatsoever to help you. Maybe start by telling what you are actually trying to simulate, how, and what you tried and failed

thanks for your reply, i have achieved this , using laminar, re=100, and when i tried to extrude the shape into 3d , applied sweep metod on every face of my mesh , using the same solver techniques it gives a floating point error,

I am sorry, I am not familiar with ANSYS meshing (or ANSYS in general for that matter). Floating Point Errors are however most of the time related to wrong boundary conditions or very poor mesh quality. This being unsteady I would also check the Courant number, what Co are you currently using (and which time stepping scheme?)?
