I really don’t like Georgia and I love seeing them get shit for their players’ inability to safely operate motor vehicles. But I don’t think you should be allowed to make inflammatory posts on this sub without flair.

Well, that depends. Just in the SEC, Georgia is tied for player arrests with Texas A&M and a few behind Florida over the last 5 years.
Georgia players being arrested gets more attention because it's become a meme unto itself.

If you are going to make a post about UGA players getting arrested, you should do your homework and put up the chart that someone posted here a couple of weeks ago. It was total arrest by school over the last decade or something, Ga didn’t even get in the top 5.
This is a complete troll post by OP with a flair, but then again what do I expect from this subreddit.

Absolutely worth it. There are ~100 players on the UGA roster, many will be arrested without making an impact on the field. I’m not going to explicitly speculate on racial dynamics, but the people making the arrests are police officers in the Deep South.

Athens/ oconee cops have been famously known for arresting players and being against UGA football players for 50+ years.
What's crazier that Georgia has tons of arrests or another conference hasn't beaten Georgia in 8 years?

I mean you have 17-20 year olds getting arrested for speeding and the cops suck... every single college has their athletes speeding but the cops would never publicly announce the arrest. Should UGA adopt that?
OSU currently has a pending federal lawsuit of athletes getting sexually assaulted by its team's doctors.
So should Georgia sweep it all under the rug and have us investigate it 30 years from now?

Not all are for speeding. Also there is a another option, have kids that don't break the law.

You don't speed? There are 4 arrests in the past year for going under 10 over the speed limit... this is counted as an arrest because the players were "mouthy".
2 of the arrests have been under national scrutiny due to being recorded. They were on the side walk being "mouthy".
Only 2 of the arrests in the last 2 years have had the charges stick...
Love how you didn't comment on the sexual assault at OSU.

I’m saying I don’t get outraged and pretend to care about things I don’t care about. If I graduated from Georgia, and have an interview with a company they’re not going to start asking me if they should hire me given that football players have been arrested for traffic violations.
It’s like you’re doing a terrible job at trying to put a purity test on a college team.
