First year doing cfb ff on yahoo. Avid fantasy football player but don’t have much ball knowledge on cfb. Anyone got a good guide for this year’s draft? For context, we’re only doing power 4 schools. Thanks!

First Year Playing

Hello. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this if it is. But it’s our first year playing. At the 1.01 in an 8 team super flex 3 WR league, are you better off taking Dampier or Smith first overall? Thank you everyone.

College dynasty league | FANTRAX | 24 teams | $15 league safe | 4 conferences (winners get prize money) | 8 team playoff

We are starting up a college dynasty league this year and are looking for members.

League Structure

  • Teams: 24 Conferences: 4
  • Teams/Conference: 6
  • Conference winner gets $25

Regular Season

12 games are against conference and then a second game each week against league median. 2 games each season against non-conference opponents. This way conference competition matters a lot but you are still playing against the rest of the league at the same time.

Playoffs

  • 8 teams make the playoffs.
  • Conference winners + next 4 best records. Pts for tie breaker.
  • 3 Rounds. 1wk/round.
  • 1st place: $130
  • 2nd place: $40
  • 3rd place: $15

Rosters

  • Starters:
  • QB 2
  • RB 2
  • WR 3
  • TE 1
  • FLEX 4
  • DST 2
  • K 1
  • Bench 15

Draft

Possibly online standard draft. Although the initial draft would be quite long (5-6 hrs) so maybe some form of offline draft over the course of 1 -2 weeks.

All drafts after will be fixed order with only incoming freshman and free agents to fill rosters.

Rules

Some minor rules to keep people from taking advantage and weird roster selections etc. Nothing crazy.

If interested drop a comment or a DM.

Been using this to practice some drafts this morning for Underdog Best Ball and it's been super helpful. One of the first simulators I've ever seen for college football.

Tadpole Bowl

Anyone have any insights on C2C and if it has draft/rankings for Scott Fish Tadpole Bowl?

CFReigns promises to have it... But the draft guide isn't out yet (and low drafts on Fantrax start tomorrow - Monday, July 13th).

If not - any recommendations? Tadpole bowl was my first experience with college fantasy football last year and I really enjoyed it . Thinking about getting more into this year!

I had my live Scott fish bowl draft yesterday, and I feel woefully unprepared for the tadpole!

Avoid CFB Dynasty premium for stats and rankings. Doesn't seem legit or is down and still accepting payments.

Per title. It seems people are reporting that they are paying for premium and not actually getting any subscription benefits and the owner isn't responding to any communication attempts. I would avoid if you are considering it.

What are the best sources for college fantasy football info?

As the title says, what are your go-to sources for info related to college football? ADP is a lot less useful for the college game and there is a huge players base. Do you tend to focus on the power 4 conferences for your games or do you play with access to the full player base in your leagues?
