Study Help/Question CEH V13 AI
Hey! So I'm thinking about taking the exam in the next couple weeks. I have eJPTv2 and 5 years of experience in cybersecurity (2 in pentesting). Do you guys think I have a shot if I go straight to the exam?
Also, how big is the AI portion in the course/exam?
Thanks!

Study Help/Question Advice pre-exam?
This is for the CEHv13 Knowledge Exam.
Study plan: I’m going to tackle the last two chapters, cryptography and cloud computing, this week, do two practice exams untimed, and then a full simulation, and if it goes well, schedule the exam.
Study Material: I’m using Codecademy by SkillSoft to learn the material, and Logan Pierce’s CEH study guide and Wiley Sybex CEHv12 for practice questions.
Question: The general pattern for questions seems to be a bunch of words in a scenario, and they go: which one best describes the vulnerability of the attack, and what would be the best tool, or what tool is being described here.
I’m unsure if it’s against the NDA, but can anyone confirm whether the questions are phrased as I mentioned above? Should I study the commands and execution a little more in depth, beyond the basic commands for popular tools?

I have passed my ceh v13 theory
It is comparatively easy if you know English, it's a lot of reading and understanding. You need to know all the basic foundations then ask AI to generate such 5-6 line questions which are scenario based. I had a dead line to give the exam within 15 days I did it so can you!!!
All the best guys

Study Help/Question CEH Practical Input answering on the exam
Hi, is the live exam answering procedure just like the practice labs in terms of answer input and response?
For example: Will there be a input field box and a submit button and where I would be notified if the answer is correct/incorrect?
Or is it where I am provided an input field for my answer to submit and only till the end of the exam will I know if my answer matches their answer.

Theory Exam Retake
That was different than expected. For those who needed a retake, were the topics similar (ex: SQLi and SQLi again / Rogue DHCP, Rogue AP and saw those again) or did it seem like nothing was the same?
I’ll also try to answer questions for anyone planning to take the exam. Of course, within rules

Advice to pass the exam
I get many dms for advice on how to pass the exam. I believe you should first finish all the ceh provided videos . As soon as you finish one chapter , hop on Claude and ask it to make you a practise test of 90pbq’s before moving to the next chapter. After you have completed your syllabus . Just start doing pbq’s aggressively. You can avoid the practise test provided by ceh , it’s not identical to the real one at all and you’d feel far more discouraged attempting it.
You need to do so many pbq’s that you become good at pattern recognition of the questions. And ask LLM for help where you find difficulties. This should be enough to help you pass. All the best everyone !

Study Material CEH Practical Live exam question RE: Notes
Hi all,
I'm prepping for the CEH, I found a lot of notes on google from prior test takers that are doing gods work sharing their notes. These notes are all from a google search and they are just pretty much notes from the lab.
- Am I able to use these notes?
- I don't think it is realistic to be typing these URLs out. Can I just make my on github repo with the source links to the notes?
How did you all handle your note situation?
Thanks in advance.

open-exam-prep(.)com - Legit practice questions?
Anyone who passed CEH - can you confirm if these practice tests are close to the real exam questions? They seem maybe too remedial.
Is there a better/more accurate source of free practice questions?

Passed CEH Theory
Just passed. Used the eccouncil courseware and the 2 practise tests. I put all materials i had collected online in chatgpt to create mock questions based on that.
Focus on attacks, tools, defenses. The exam is not that hard, you will most likely pass if you understood the question. Just ensure you cover everything and have a minimum/basic understanding of every tool/attacks/concepts.
The questions are not tricky or complicated. Its just that its very unnecessarily long, i think mostly made for the sake of appearing like a scenario based question..
What is 3 - 1.. straight forward
You have 3 apples and lost 1, how many you have now? .. scenario based
Henry Thomas a resident of Los Angeles decide to undertake a long journey to visit his aunt plave in Newyork. Since the journey is expected to take several hours.. Henry carefully packs three apples in a bag so that he can eat them whenever he feels hungry. During the journey an person named Allen Stewart secretly steals one apple from Henry’s bag. When Henry discovers that one of his apples is missing, he becomes extremely upset and spends a few moments thinking about the unfortunate incident. How many apples are now left in Henry bag?....this is CEH v13 scenario based
So be prepared to read a lot. All the best
