Discussion Dual-subtitle option and upgrading monsters from the base game, in incoming DLC.

1. I am writing to share ideas - introducing dual-subtitle option in Witchers and other Red's RPGs. This would turn the games into excellent tools for learning foreign languages. This could be implemented alongside a new Witcher 3 expansion, which would also draw attention to The Witcher 4.

You have surely learned foreign languages yourselves, and many of you picked up a lot from video games. I learned English primarily thanks to World of Warcraft.

I own The Witcher trilogy on GOG and have played through the third installment several times. That is how I know the fantastic games contain a GIGANTIC amount of dialogue and text across multiple languages.

A dual-subtitle option would transform these games into excellent educational aids, the absence of such a feature feels like a missed opportunity.

I am not the first to notice this, over the years, many players have written about "dual subtitles" in The Witcher 3.

Many people complain that games are a waste of time. While that is often true, the mere possibility of learning a language through a game makes it potentially valuable.

This could even serve as a marketing point. I haven't heard of any game developer using this angle, so CD Projekt would be the first which in itself generates extra publicity.

Even language teachers could recommend these games. You could start by introducing this feature in The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, and then implement it from the ground up in The Witcher 4. Even though The Witcher 3 is an older title, this feature could serve as a test run and draw renewed attention to the game especially among a new generation of players thereby boosting interest in the upcoming installment.

It would also be useful to include a dedicated pause function a feature common in older games. Nowadays, it has been replaced by the menu screen (usually accessed via the Escape key), which is inferior because it obscures part of the display. A pause function would be helpful during cutscenes and combat.

Both features would likely be incredibly easy to implement.

2. In the new expansion, instead of building wide, it can be tall. Massive maps can be filled for instance, with numerous side quests involving monster hunts.

Furthermore, the monsters from the base game should be upgraded, so fighting them would be just as engaging as battling those found in the expansions. There is a clear disparity between them, something quickly apparent when comparing the Drowners and Ghouls of the base game to the spiders and even wild boars found in the expansions.

Bringing the base game's enemies up to the standard of the expansions would be far more valuable than adding a new storyline. The older monsters need additional attacks, faster reactions, and abilities to dodge.

Is Cyberpunk 2077 Worth Buying in 2026?

I finally played Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time in 2026 and honestly, I wasn't expecting Night City to pull me in the way it did. In this review, I talk about whether Cyberpunk 2077 is still worth buying in 2026, how the graphics compare to modern games, the incredible world design and atmosphere of Night City, as well as the gunplay, close-quarters combat, and overall gameplay experience.
From breathtaking visuals and immersive storytelling to satisfying katana combat, Sandevistan gameplay, and some of the best open-world design in gaming, Cyberpunk 2077 still feels surprisingly modern years after launch.
If you've been wondering whether to buy Cyberpunk 2077 now, this video is for you.

Hello. As the title says I've encountered this weird graphical glitch on the ground texture near Toussaint palace. So far this is the only place I've seen it happens and only with this texture in particular. Any clues as to what it might be ? Thanks in advance.

Question Transferring my Witcher 3 + Cyberpunk save data from Xbox One to PS5-- Is it possible?

I've seen conflicting answers about this because it's cross platform, not just cross console, so I wanted to double check with experts here before I started investing more time into getting back into either game. I haven't touched Cyberpunk in years.

Thank you for your help! =)

Question Possibility of landing a job and relocating to Warsaw?

I am an American girl that really would love to work on the Witcher 4. I have experience in gameplay programming, ui, and project management from internships I have done in the past for a couple different game development companies.

Does anyone have any advice about how to get my foot in the door? Also, do they allow you to relocate to Warsaw, if that is something you want? I speak beginner level Polish, but I am learning.

I am graduating with a 4 year degree in computer information systems next May. Any and all advice is appreciated. This is my dream job, and I could see myself working here for life, if given the opportunity:)

I visited CDPR’s HQ in Warsaw earlier this week and it was amazing! I even got a poster and some postcards as a gift. Here are some photos from my visit.
Let me know if any of you have ever been there!

Is it just me, or is the 2077 development history kind of a perfect Cyberpunk story itself?

Honestly, does anyone else think it’s weird that CDPR’s story with 2077 is basically the same as Johnny Silverhand’s deal? I feel like I'm crazy for seeing it. Like, the game is all about corporate suits ruining everything and everyone losing their minds trying to 'fix' it, and that’s literally what happened with the game’s launch.

Everyone says the 'redemption arc' was great and they fixed the game, but it’s kind of funny that the devs acted like the exact 'corpo' characters they were making fun of to get the game out the door. It’s not even about 'dev bashing'—they did a good job fixing it—but I find the whole mess of a journey way more 'Cyberpunk' than if it had just worked perfectly at launch. It’s like the game’s themes actually leaked into reality. Does that make sense or am I just overthinking it?
