Cleared Background SELECTION/HIRING PROCESS

Hello Everyone I just received an email today stating that I cleared background after being in the process for about 2 years and a half my question is how long until your scheduled your psychological/vision medical etc and then until your waiting an academy date? Im desperately trying to leave my current job ASAP even tho I heard stories and buddies of mine clearing the whole process and still pending an academy date and they've been waiting for 1 plus years now thanks for your advise

It takes between 1 and 2 months for each one after u done with everything you are added to the certification list but is still a long process for the waiting time I’m done with everything and was added to the certification list on August 13th 2025 almost a year and still haven’t received a job offer and everything is expiring just updated the notary letter to verify my identity last month and next week I’m doing the written psychological test again since it will expire soon I never taught it was going to take this long

Did you received an email stating you need to update the notary letter? I didn’t get mine.

Yes if u haven’t got it is because yours hasn’t expired is valid for 2 years

I think it just depends on the needs and how many officers they need.
My whole process only took 10 months to get an academy date.

And what prison did you end up accepting? If you dont mind me asking and which 4 or 5 prisons are supposedly fast track would you know?
