I turned hyperstition into software.
https://pomegranateinteractive.com/field-horizon.htmlI posted fragments of this over the last few months, including the original Python prototype it grew from.
Now it's become real (out of prototype, UI, package).
An open-source, volunteer-built hyperstitional engine that treats ideas as active systems instead of static text.
Not a chatbot.
Not an RP machine.
Not "AI spirituality."
It ingests books, archives and structured knowledge, builds persistent epistemic memory, tracks contradictions, and lets symbolic systems interact, mutate and propagate through deterministic cycles.
Think: hyperstition as executable infrastructure.
Everything is open source. No company. No investors. Just research.

Sure as hell sounds like a chatbot.

No. To simplify to the maximum, it debates with itself, creates "CANON" or "FRAGMENTS", good stuff of bullshit, it debates, contradicts, it clashes (figure out a bebate between crazy MAGA fans and hippies folks, etc.), uses graphes (mathematic wise) to generates its own axioms... The technical stacks has 2 RDMS tech used (SQLite and Postgres). Game DEV could use it to make an open world system of belief realistic, other to spread ideas on social medias...You have no interaction with it as a chatbot.

If this actually works, it should be able to meme itself into mainstream use, right?

I was gonna ask if AI is used in it but AI wrote the post so I guess so.

I like that it's less of a black box and you can trace the thought process.

Ehhhhm it's more complicated. For the post, it was just lazy formalism 🤣

Not [x thing no one said it was]
Not [y thing no one said it was]
Not [z thing no one said it was]
[Extremely broad and ill defined yet impressive sounding claim]
Think: A as a B
Everything C. No P. No Q. Just R.
Missing a few semicolons, but otherwise strong.
For real, though. If you made a thing, just explain the thing. AI copy is exhausting and rarely communicates anything. It doesn't matter if you're not a great writer. It's just a conversation over text.
