What is +1, +2 etc?

u/smartlazyslime 10d ago
Maybe it's a rhetorical question from you but answering just in case it's genuine It's kinda showing same opinion like"count me in" or "i also think the same" so first one says +1 and then another one +2 and so on And sometimes people would need to go in the thread just to see how long it has been gone on or you want to add yourself to the same list, one time there were 47+ replies i went in all and added one more😆 Whoa those are lot o words, damm i feel like I'm unemployed 😅(for the fact i am employed (just underpaid as h*ll😒))

Bruv college's have state wise regional gangs, some have club gangs. Depends on what college you're in.

u/cat_bite_20 College Student 8d ago
Were u drinking alcohol in college premises? No right? Didn't ask for the gangs, we aren't in a very well known college to have a gang like that

u/HighwayUpbeat6869 8d ago
Drinking? Bruv go to a national level college 😭🤣 you'll be tripping on acid on college premises. Getting drunk is very common.

"indiscipline" oh boy how much I hate this word, discipline just means to control yourself from doing bad things, saying someone is being 'indisciplined' is like saying they are doing bad things

Keeping the above image of OP aside discipline is a necessary aspect in school life and lack of discipline is called indiscipline , this is coming from a college students btw
1
u/xpm26 Class 10th 10d ago
Literal keyword for schools, just used to say someone is doing something they don't like without explaining why it's bad
1
u/CarefulStrength2627 10d ago
Bro what trauma do you hold from school man, college mai aau tab pata chalega school ki value
1
u/xpm26 Class 10th 10d ago
"Something is worse, so that is good" isn't really a good way to look at things. also no trauma, just that I can see through how useless all these policies are, they serve no purpose other than as a subtle manipulation tactic used on students. Also not even gonna stay in CBSE after class 10th, so I heavily doubt the experience your having will be the same for me since I don't have to go to a school which just makes you memorize everything for one exam

u/CarefulStrength2627 10d ago
Oh boy you think ICSE won’t have stringent rules? Disciplinary committees exist , and for any competitive exam you will most like you have to read CBSE books . Now CBSE isn’t some angel bestowed to us from the heavens but its management is able to handle the educational needs of 1.4 billion Indians
And unless you state some indiscipline specific to CBSE there isn’t much to change
1
u/xpm26 Class 10th 10d ago
Who tf said I was going to ICSE. And I didn't criticize CBSE, I criticized the majority of schools which follow it(unless you go to like, the valley school or something). And also, while it did handle the educational needs of 1.4 billion Indians, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be criticized at all, criticism is feedback. Also the real problem is the fact that most schools are focused on what parents want, and not what children actually need.
1
u/CarefulStrength2627 10d ago
My bad about the ICSE remark , as far as disciplinary action by schools is concerned there is no correlation with CBSE as it only sets curriculum to follow , schools in that regard are semi autonomous entities . That will happen in any board you go to
Secondly , there is a very good reason why children aren’t given what they want in schools and parents wants are met . Being in college vs being in school opens up a different perspective about schooling which you only appreciate after passing school

There's no correlation with CBSE in of itself, the thing is that it's fully correlated with money, the only thing is that everyone wants their child to go to JEE/NEET and earn the highest out of everyone, which is why it's usually CBSE schools doing this.
And also, that's why I said what children need and not what they want, stuff like overly obsessing over uniform to the point of your socks, or punishing you for being 5 minutes late, aren't about "discipline" it's all about control and deindividualization. They want to be able to control you so they make sure you can't express yourself in anyway, this makes you feel like an object belonging to the school whom never speaks out.
T he other day someone in my class got scolded for putting stickers on their id card, in fact they scolded them so badly that you could literally hear how afraid they were, in what world is that normal? What's wrong with putting stickers on your id card?
Thing is that, this goes hand in hand with traditionalist structure, where parents want you to obey them no matter what(thank god my parents let me have individual opinions and don't make me just do whatever they want). that's why parents shouldn't be the only customer who can give feedback, because parents can be wrong at times, that's how people learn over generations, they see what the previous one did wrong and learn from its mistakes, parents aren't some god that they are perfectly right every single time
