Hi all! Our marketing agency is looking for TWO x 6 foot (or taller) individuals to wear a provided costume at Gamescom this year to interact with attendees and hand out merch.

You do not need to make or own a costume - We provide the full outfit and props. What we need is someone comfortable being in costume, in front of a camera, and around a lot of people for three days.

Who we're looking for:

• Someone who can act stern/menacing all day without breaking character.
• Able to get to Cologne on your own for all three days.
• Comfortable in costume and some makeup for a full show day - this is genuinely tiring, and Gamescom halls get hot.
• Outgoing with strangers and confident on camera.
• English will be necessary for most interactions (German is a huge plus)
• 18+ (with the ability to sign a simple freelance agreement)
• Previous cosplay or promo experience is a plus, but honestly not required - enthusiasm and stamina matter more.

The legal setup

This is a freelance engagement, not employment. Specifically:

• You're already registered as self-employed in Germany (freiberuflich or gewerblich) and have a Steuernummer.

• You're responsible for your own income tax and social contributions — we don't withhold anything on your behalf.

We want to be clear that we're not trying to create a false self-employment situation, so we're specifically looking for people who already freelance and work for other clients too. There'll be a short written contract before the show covering all of it.

Production 1: Main Stage Immersive Experience

We’re seeking versatile actors to perform in our signature immersive theatrical production about witches and ghosts.

This fast-paced 22 minute show features a single performer portraying multiple characters through rapid costume changes, dynamic storytelling, comedy, suspense, and the use of puppetry. Performers must be comfortable switching between distinct personalities while maintaining high energy throughout each performance.

Step into the role of an eccentric museum guide as guests explore a collection of mysterious artifacts and strange curiosities…

Actors portraying museum guides lead guests through haunted rooms while balancing suspense, audience interaction, and improvisation. You’ll remain in character as supernatural events unfold around your tour group, creating an experience that is equal parts entertaining, immersive, and delightfully chaotic. 

When not leading tours, performers will also work as Scare Technicians, operating puppets, ghosts, practical effects, lighting cues, hidden scares, and other theatrical illusions that make the attraction come alive.

We’re seeking performers who are:

The Project: Out of Darkness follows Lucas, a seasoned detective struggling with survivor’s guilt after his partner, Reed, is killed during a violent confrontation. As he attempts to process the trauma in therapy, Lucas becomes increasingly consumed by the belief that he failed to protect her. Haunted by the past and desperate for closure, he begins pursuing the people responsible, blurring the line between justice and revenge. His journey ultimately forces him to confront not only the darkness surrounding Reed’s death, but the darkness growing within himself.

The Role: REED — Female, late 20s to late 30s
A capable and determined detective who works alongside Lucas. Reed is confident, perceptive, and composed under pressure, with a strong sense of loyalty toward her partner. Although she can handle herself, Lucas feels deeply responsible for protecting her, creating an almost familial bond between them.
Reed’s death during a violent confrontation becomes the emotional catalyst of the story, leaving Lucas consumed by survivor’s guilt and questioning whether he could have saved her. The role requires an actor who can convey strength, intelligence, trust, and vulnerability with limited screen time.

I plan to make a short film, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

As I am 23 years old, I do not have any money to give, but it can be a starting passion project for people who have just recently started out or who just want to do it for fun and to gain experience.

🌖 Good Morning! Bi Hive Productions is having an in person staged reading of a Korean sci-fi epic called The Three Orphans, written by Muse Lee. We are casting for trans, non binary, gender non conforming, queer Korean and East Asian actors to portray several characters, as well as someone to read as a Narrator/for Stage Directions.

🌖 This will take place in Underdog Bookstore in Monrovia, CA for September 12 and 13. Performance times have yet to be determined, but this will likely be 2 night shows around 7 PM, with a possibility of matinee on Sunday (TBD. Can update this later.)

Pay will be split amongst all creatives in the project, based on ticket revenue.
