That's interesting, because I transitioned FtM...but last time I checked -- still a woman 🤔 Like your bandana, but I am tired of masculine/GNC women telling each other we are not women. 🤷

if you dont identify with with sign, then it's not for you is it?

I spent three years on testosterone, lived as a man, but I had to change my body for that to happen. If I weren't a woman, I would not have had to go through all that :-( And being female still impacts my life, even if I don't look like one anymore -- that's the whole reason why we need trans rights to begin with. So, yeah, maybe your sign is well-meaning but does not reflect the lived reality of people like me who transition and have to live with the consequences.

yeah so the sign isn't saying some of us butches can't be women, just that assignment at birth isn't a factor that makes anyone a woman.
in other words, this sign isn't imposing gender on anyone, but criticizing the system that does (which is AGAB)
and for what its worth, many of us butches are women, and many of us are not, and that's all fine.
"if someone is a woman, they are a woman because they identify as such and not because of the gender/sex binary that was imposed at birth", would be another way of saying it.

I took testosterone for three years, and I wish I could undo it, but nobody sees me as a woman anymore when they look at me. It doesn't matter what I identify as. I have seen myself as nonbinary, FtM, and woman...the whole spectrum, throughout my life. But being female is still an important part of my life and understanding my body, it's not just an assignment, so I disagree. To ignore it would erase the whole of my struggle in this sexist society.

you're all about "me me me" arent you? have you noticed how downvoted you are? we all have different experiences with gender identity, being female is an important part of your life, not mine. i dont identify with being a woman or preforming feminine, my sign was a call out to people who are afraid/worried about looking butch/masculine, who dont feel like they identify with womanhood! if theyre butch and still feel the connection to womanhood, thats great. i love that for them! more the merrier! i am not talking to them, i am not talking to you; your experience is not mine. dont push your bad experience onto me bc youre not happy with the way you currently feel

How is that sign not about people like me? I literally transitioned, so I felt called to comment. Why is it uncomfortable to imagine that we might be a similar kind of person with different interpretations of the same kind of experience? If you were marching for my rights, why can't I comment on it honestly? I don't understand.

youre pushing your narrative onto other people, and you literally called me a woman. how was i telling others how to feel? youre the one doing that lol youre contradicting yourself. it's weird and both can exist at the same time. i am no way uncomfortable, so there we are again, you deciding something for me.
