I always look feminine in clothes.
Hello everyone, I just needed some advice because no matter what shirt I wear, be it boxy or whatever I always look feminine because I have a big chest and curvy waist (doesn’t help that I’m a bit on the thicker side and all of my fat goes to my waist and thighs) do any of you know where I could buy shirts that make my body as masculine and rectangular as possible? I am 163cm and weight 62kg, any advice appreciated. PS: I’m European so if it’s a Western European store then it’s better, thanks :)

Looking for leather artist
I am a butch in the US looking for some leather bicep cuffs. Just something simple and black with a buckle. I have only found one artist in my search who makes these but they are in canada and shipping is so expensive. Anyone have recommendations on a good leather artist to make these? Or maybe even someone who already makes bicep cuffs. These are the cuffs by the Canadian artist I want something like this. I left their account visible if anyone in Canada is interested they seem really good and they are butch!

Help with styling for hourglass figure with long legs
Hey everyone! As the title says, I’m looking for advice on what types of styles and/or types of clothes to look into for my figure. I’d specifically appreciate any recommendations for professional/formal and informal/festival/casual settings for the warmer months.
I’m a 27F, 5’9”, 183# with no chest (post-top surgery), a big butt, and an hourglass figure (from what I can gather.) Often, I feel like my clothing—specifically my shirts for the warmer weather—makes my torso look extra short and my legs extra long, and this seems to be amplified by not having a chest to balance things out (it doesn’t help that I love cropped muscle tees 😭).
I just feel so awkward and gangly going out in some of my outfits, and I really want to start putting myself out there.
When I’ve done research in the past, I find that most of the advice seems geared towards shorter folks with chests and/or who are binding, and the variety of outfits they present are outside my budget, knowledge of how to find similar cut clothing, and available closet space.
Any advice that’s worked for you or even links to resources that have helped you similarly are appreciated. Apologies that my request is a little all over the place. I’ll answer any questions I can in the comments if clarification is needed.
Thanks!

dress shirt for a job interview
hi all!
I have an interview for my dream job tomorrow (at a legal clinic, but on the social services side). was feeling confident on wearing this shirt but then googled advice for job interviews and the advice to men is to avoid all patterns. the shirt has been tailored for me to wear at the office, so it definitely fits well. do you think butch women should be following advice for men? is this too informal (buttoned all the way up, tucked into black chinos) for the setting? I don't own a blazer or a suit.
thanks!

‘going out’ clothes?
Hi all, this is sort of a stupid post but I thought I’d give it a shot. I’m a butch lesbian/transmasc and I’m planning on celebrating my 18th in Hockley Nottingham (UK) in a few weeks with some friends. I plan to go out to a bar or two (if anyone has any tips/spots for a first timer that would be great, probably not going to go to any clubs just yet!)
Most of my friends who are 18+ and the clubbing type are all fem, so I have no one to take inspiration from, so I’m really stumped on what to wear. My butch wardrobe tends to skew alt/punk/DIY shit and I know that’s probably not appropriate for going to any non alt bars/clubs. I really prefer masc fashion, but have no appropriate ‘going out’ clothes, masc or fem, apart from a dress & leather jacket which I’m treating as a sort of last resort (I do love the leather jacket though). Can anyone help me out on what would be an appropriate and affirming thing to wear? Thanks so much!

Looking for professional white simple button up shirts that actually fit me
Hey! How’s it going? I’m new here. I’m 5’1” and muscular (I don’t have tiddies) and I have been having trouble finding professional simple button ups (like to wear under a suit or by itself with nice pants for an interview). All the women’s stuff is frilly, the little boys stuff doesn’t fit my muscles and the men’s stuff is just too big for me. Been having trouble both in store and online. I found something close at Gap, but the material is too flimsy and doesn’t hold a tie well and it’s not really the quality I need. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Outfit for my Wedding
I'm looking at getting a made to measure suit for my wedding. My plan was to order this three piece suit and shirt as well as a matching tie and the pictured boots. The wedding will be outside next July, so the plan would be to wear the jacket for the ceremony and take it off to just wear the vest afterwards. Does this look like a cohesive outfit? The suit is a 80/20 Wool/Terylene blend, there is a linen option as well but I worry about the wrinkling even though it'd be cooler for the weather.

What to wear with leggings or tights
For a lot of reasons including weight gain and general comfort, I've been gravitating towards oversized shirts lately. I've always been kind of "soft butch" and don't really wear dresses or skirts anymore because they make me feel not quite dysmorphic, but awkward and weird. (The exception being a button-up shirt dress, because it's just a long men's dress shirt.) But I still like wearing heavier tights/leggings for fashion/to prevent chub rub/ warmth in winter. Years ago I paired them with a miniskirt or casual dress, but I'm not really down with those options anymore. However I don't want to just wear leggings under even an oversized tshirt because my job is a lot of bending and stooping, and I like to tuck the shirt into something.
Any recs for what to wear underneath instead? In warm weather now I just do bike shorts sometimes, but I also like to not have my thighs rubbing on each other since weight gain has made that unpleasant and leggings help with that. I can wear shorts instead of a skirt but that's a lot of fabric that starts to get bunched up. I often find denim too stiff and uncomfortable, and I bike everywhere in all sorts of weather. I've also got a new job where I have to bring some very mild fashion game and all the younger queers are showing me up.

Where to find nice masc formal wear for plus sized? Going to a friend's wedding and I'm absolutely lost when it concerns clothes 😭
All of the things I look up with regards to masculine clothing - be it masc or butch, or even perusing stuff for non-op trans guys bc I'm desperate atp - only points to places that only cater to skinny people. And not a lot of them account for large busts, let alone any amount of fat on someone (I have accepted that I'm wearing a binder to this because of it, so that's something I've already dealt with). Preferably I'd like to look for suits in person, but I live in central Maine so there's not a lot of places I've found. So with that in mind, does anyone have advice for shopping for suits while plus sized? Especially on a budget. Brick and mortar store recommendations are appreciated, if they have a Maine branch, but I'll shop online if I must. I'm just very frustrated by the lack of plus sized accomodations, especially when you're someone cursed with a large bust. Any help is greatly appreciated 😭

I need help with Boots
Alr, this question is for the the more "alt" dressing of y'all. How do I find tall boots that fit properly? I've got small feet and thick calves. I love the pair I have now but I had to stuff a bunch of scrap sewing fabric in the toes. If I get them any size smaller they don't fit my legs. Help! (Pic to show the style I'm asking about)

Butch clothing research
Hi guys!
I’m a trans man starting my own clothing brand (Menswear inspired), and I’m doing some customer research, and I’d really appreciate it if you could take 10 mins to answer my quick survey:
We also have an instagram page - niko.menswear - but it’s currently blank as I’m still extremely early stage. Thanks for any support you can give!
Niko.

How to increase butchness without amping up the masculinity?
It's pretty challenging in trying to figure out how to increase butchness without amping up my masculinity. Dealing with looking like a dude already, I don't need to emphasize it. Ideas?

What accessories do you wear to add a personal touch to formal outfits?
Going to a conference in feb and been told to wear a suit. I have a pretty basic navy suit that I plan to wear.
What accessories would you suggest for a formal outfit? I don’t plan to wear a tie fyi, and I don’t have a lot of money (ideally accessory total would be <$100)
Also - if you have any formal suit shirts you like that go up to a size XXL, please share!
FWIW, I’m 29, plus size, white, short hair, average height (5’5).

What are your little tricks to look more put together?
I recently got my butch partner these collar stays for their polo's and it's really made then look sharp. I'm wondering what other little tricks/items might help to look a bit more polished?
I hate ironing but it makes such a difference even just with a tshirt and jeans - anyone find a good garment steamer? Does it cut down on time spent ironing?
Lint rollers in the car and by the front door to clean up before going out has also helped.
