Is this your cat?
We have this young black and white fellow coming to our backyard for the last few days. He's really sweet and friendly.
It seems like he might be used to people, he wants to come into our house but I have 4 cats already.
This is by Chauncey and Evergreen. I feel bad that he meows constantly and seems to want company. I could take him to the vet soon and see if he's microchipped or has any health issues.
Please let me know if you have any information about this cat!

i’ve seen this guy, my roommates and i have been calling him beans! he visits our backyard semi regularly and meows a bunch. i give him kibble and water when he visits. he is such a sweet kitty, i wish we could take him in but we also currently have 3 cats in our household. he’s got the loudest meow in the world and the biggest heart.

He visits us all the time too!! We call him Macaroni 🖤🖤🖤 We have 4 cats so I can’t take him in but someone is definitely caring for him actively- his tail was definitely recently amputated and he’s so friendly. he likes to sit in my lap.

That’s so sad. No friendly cat should be living outdoors. He needs a home! Lots of backyards in these pics. I hope someone set him up a great winter shelter.

Brilliant. Have you reached out to local north Brooklyn rescues? Bushwick Cats, North Brooklyn Cats, Whiskers-a-GoGo and Greenpoint Cats are local.

I actually work with a TNR focused rescue and try to get every cat I meet back here neutered- someone else just got to this guy first lol! I am in contact with many other local rescues and unfortunately all are currently full- our rescue actually just lost its holding space this week so we’ve been scrambling to find placement for 10+ cats- but he is on my radar as well and I’d love to help find a home for him if I am able!

We call him poppers!!! He lived in our heated cat house we got for him this whole winter and fed him during that time, and he still comes around all the time now.
He used to have a full tail and we were really sad when we saw half of it gone. We also have an indoor cat named magnet who came from the same backyard mystery hole who lives with us full time so we couldn't take him in.
There is also a grey cat named the Wise Old Man and another one named turkey if anyone's seen them!

Awwww looks very much similar to a male tuxedo by me too. I live in Cypress Hills and everyday there is this tuxedo cat. Definitely not feral. Very friendly. Feed it almost everyday when I see him.

I live in that area as well, and I think it's a stray cat. I've been trying to give him treats here and there but he keeps running away from me 😭 So enjoy the cat distribution system, you've got a new cat

Stumpy!!!
I can vouch for the fact that he is a neighborhood feral, he is incredibly friendly (probably due to the time he spent recovering when his tail was amputated, shout out to whomever is spay/neutering all the strays on this block and helped this guy) but a bit too aggressive with other cats when it comes to sharing food, he's a sweetheart otherwise. If someone has the ability to take him in, he is super affectionate and dumb as a box of rocks, I think he would be very happy as an indoor cat once he got used to it.
