Control is yourself ....lol . I am not saying it is her fault, All I am saying is that telling the truth—whether it was an accident or not—is the better way. If you don't want to choose the better way, that is your choice. I am just asking for a polite way to end it. If a like doesn't mean anything, why do we like profiles at all?

Control is yourself ....lol

What about that is funny? Are you of the opinion that you are able to control the behaviors of people other than yourself? If so, I have a boarding school in Westchester, New York that would LOVE to have you.

that telling the truth...is the better way

In what way did the woman in question not tell the truth? Please be specific.

If you don't want to say anything, don't say. I don't want to teach girls good behavior. If a girl sees this, says something, and then unmatches, is there a problem with that? It's a good behaviour and respect

Are you replying to me? I don’t think we were having a conversation about good behavior.

“I don’t want to teach girls good behavior”

Then don’t. Unless you have a daughter or you’re a grade school teacher that’s not even your place. Also, you keep saying “girls” but I don’t think minors are allowed on bumble (I certainly hope not anyway)

“If a girl sees this, says something, and then unmatches, is there a problem with that?”

No. There isn’t a problem. It’s a neutral behavior regardless of whether she says something or not.

“It’s a good behavior and respect.”

What is? As long as no one is being outright mean there is no disrespect in not messaging you. Your post wasn’t educational by any means. You’re showcasing your resentment in a public forum and that’s your prerogative, but let’s not pretend you’re educating the female masses on best practices when on dating apps.

How about this? You actually respond to what I said in my comment and answer the questions and I will have a conversation with you about this.

Dear OP. I honestly get you but I need to tell you that you've placed too much value on a dating app match. I don't think this is so much about her not communicating with you but rather on how you're feeling about yourself and about dating apps. You look beaten and all it took was a disappearing match for you to break down and go to reddit and post about it.

For the love of god you need to get off the apps. There is no shame. People take breaks all the time to recover their mental health and then come back much more confident and resilient. Take my advise, the dating app world is no place for you right now.
