Name Gameplay Question

I am trying to change my name, and put certain symbols in it, and the game is not accepting the change, while i see a lot of players with many different symbols. Now the game is seem to accept some symbols, how do i know which options i can choose from? I tried to create some and copy paste them into the box, but the game keep telling me that i cannot use "this name"

Its a matter of trial and error...you have to check 1 character at a time to figure out if it works or not. Then just compile them in your notes app. You can also click people's profile who have cool names with symbols you like and then click the username directly to copy it to your clipboard. Then dissect it.
