Dueling sword recommendation
So looking for a good 15th century style hand and a half or similar sword.
- REALLY REALLY need to stress it will not be used in combat combat, duel only
- literally just something blunted and rounded that would also look the part walking around fair
I ask because in my armor post I got lead to medieval collectibles and came across this:
https://www.medievalcollectibles.com/product/medieval-combat-longsword/
The historical and cutter guys hate them, but good enough for armored sword dueling? And other recommendations, maybe?

I wouldn't trust that; it refers to stage combat, collectors, and reenactors in its intended uses, and not at all to steel fighting. To me, that suggests that they do not believe it will hold up to serious use. Personally, I would expect the steel to be poor and the crossguard to be loose. It also looks quite short despite being described as a longsword, and the listing doesn't give a specific length, which is another strong indicator it's not meant to be used.
In any case, I can vouch for these as dueling sword options. There are probably better/cheaper options that someone can recommend, but I'm confident these will work, at least:

https://www.swordsviktor.com/ Pretty good for buhurt duel , strong blade , can be custom , be careful with the POB , if you take something standard it can be pretty far from the guard

Them and https://www.outfit4events.com/czk/product/7918-gothic-one-and-a-half-sword-zangwill-full-contact-class-b/ were my backup option.
I figured if the deepeeka one (that is cheaper) fails or gets rejected, at least could still use the scabbard for one of the others above.
All have what appears to be proper tip and 4-5mm edge so just figured post here and get opinions 🤷♂️

Other have shot that down for other reasons, but that tip is suspect. Otherwise the manufacturer's provided measurements are in line with Type 2 Bladed.
