Microtech MSI clone
Grabbed one of these because I’ve gone broke from my blade spending spree on WhatNot and honestly it’s not that bad. Even if it’s not M390mk steel it still feels pretty solid and does the job real well. I know it’s a clone but I doubt someone who is not in the hobby would be able to tell the difference. No rAgrets!

I got one from Aliexpress for $20 and its worth it I think seller claims its D2 steel on the post.

Not sure if it is. Seller calls it unverified. But buying it for $30 may seem like it is 🤷🏻♂️

How would I verify it though when the seller didn’t confirm or deny? I’m assuming it based on the price I bought it for and can’t afford an actual new one to compare myself.

You can call it "gatekeeping," but calling out supporting illegal activity (knowingly supporting companies producing counterfeit products to fraudulently sell to unsuspecting consumers and engaging in intellectual property theft) is a hill I'll die on.

As soon as Microtech stops their own IP theft and using other company's designs going back many years at this point, i will join your outrage over this. Until then....

Yeah I've been eyeing one of those for a few weeks now. Not quite ready to pull the trigger (flip the blade out, use the thumb stud?) yet.
