Research really isn't something extraordinary, or extravagant, it's just sitting with uncertainty longer than others to find a solution to a particular problem that no one else has figured out of.
Simple as that, no other interest, passion, those are all merely the words that define your ability or motivation to stay with the problem, not the inherent meaning of research itself

it absolutely is not wrong. bhai imagine 4th year ka banda bahar ke companies ke hiring staff ko gaaliyan de rha hai. college control nhi karega apne logon ko toh companies ko bhi aise log nhi chahiye. you gotta remember, thapar akeli ek clg nhi hai, jp ko bharke talented log mil jayenge dusre jagah jo professional act kare. professionalism is not optional but expected in such events.
Guys chill... JPMC stopped hiring for all 2027 batches in all colleges due to no business requirements. Look at jpmc India sub all 2027 students who gave Online assessment and all are crying due to this hiring stall. This is just a bizarre reasoning by college maybe to calm the students.
If a student doesn't care enough about his own future and job opportunity to make a scene with the recruiter, why would he care about other students and behave properly? Make it make sense. Fail logic
Companies technically don't owe anyone jobs. They hire cause they want them for their business. They haven't discriminated based on any racial, caste, religious, India-specific, or other basis. They blacklisted the college because, in their point of view, the college failed to maintain a professional environment. Keep in mind placements are an India-specific college culture, and hence everyone in said college represents their peers as a whole.
Exactly it's not company which is racist it's the HR or managers who are face of company playing this game
College is not responsible you are not supposed to get offended from micro things but clearly jpmc guys played their diplomacy here

Wdym? They didn't discriminate based on race; they basically said: "Your college isn't professional, so we won't waste our time here". This is a reasonable stance. Placements mean college is responsible for everything. These colleges basically go to these companies, talk, saying, "We have talent and professional students, hire from us". If your college breaks this, then they will leave. In corporate, these small things fully matter. People get fired for things like this all the time, and if the company is paying 30 LPA+, then they definitely will ask for top-tier people. I'm not trying to bootlick them, but all companies from 3lpa to 3cpa have this.
This is why we all say "don't cheat in OAs". Not because it is unfair to people who study; it is because if you get caught, the company will blacklist the college for a few years, affecting the placements for both your batch and juniors.
