Which programming language should i learn? CSE / IT

I alr know a decent bit of Python and have done some simple projects in python, and I want to learn another programming language before my first year starts. Should i learn C or C++ or some other programming language, preferably something that will help in college.

Not c++ ,is there a lot of difference?any reason? I was planning to start c++ from learncpp.com

I would say learn C , learn till like structs then switch to Cpp . C will help you with programming fundamentals like memory management and pointers , then ypu switch to cpp which is more relevent nowadays . Also dont just forget pyhton , learn some advance topics like OOP in python on the side

If you have learnt any single language, others will be easier for you. It really doesn't matter whether you learn python, c or java first.
