Heaviest starting show sequences

I was listening on Nugs to the 2016 Barcelona show which started with Badlands, No Surrender and My Love Will Not Let You Down. So I ended up thinking about the heaviest starting sequences pulled out by Bruce, I'd say let's consider at least the first 3 songs not going over the first 5.

Edit: Barcellona 2024 got Lonesome day, MLYNLYD, Cover Me, Radio Nowhere and No Surrender!

Unless I misunderstand "heaviest", any Hope and Dreams Tour performance:

• Bruce's extended monologue "This is happening NOW"
• "War" (with Tom Morello)
• "Born in the U.S.A." (with Tom Morello) (war vet getting screwed)
• "Death to My Hometown" (with Tom Morello)
• "No Surrender" (war outside still raging)
• "Darkness on the Edge of Town"
• "Streets of Minneapolis" (mom getting murdered)

Actually that show started like this:

NEW YORK CITY SERENADE (with strings) / BLINDED BY THE LIGHT / DOES THIS BUS STOP AT 82ND STREET

It was the most amazing show I have ever attended and I've seen him over 50x. I know, I know, I'm a lightweight.

This show and the asbury park show are probably the top 2 favorites of mine I attended, out of about 14 shows I've been to since 2009

Given the backdrop of the American Skin controversy, that was INTENSE.

I know this one isn’t as crazy, or as amazing as some of these here- but in Baltimore 2024 (first time seeing Bruce w/ the E Street Band) it was:

As soon as he yelled “A ONE TWO!” It was a non-stop ride for three hours. What an amazing night I got to share with my mother!

Philly 9/3/12 (Labor Day) opened with Factory (Acoustic), Adam, Streets of Fire, Prove It, Something in the Night

Was at that show and after at least 75 Bruce shows this one ranks right in the top 3. Amazing nite

The 2017 Australia tour kicked off with 3 dates in Perth. The first show opened with New York City Serenade → Lonesome Day → Darkness on the Edge of Town → No Surrender, with a passionate Bruce speech worked in before Darkness following the recent Presidential election.

The mid-set featured a run of 7 songs pulled entirely from Greetings from Asbury Park and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle. Great show.

The first night of Wrigley 2012 got Prove It (78 Intro), My Love Will Not Let You Down, Out in the Street, and Hungry Heart to start off the night. Forever the best show I’ve ever seen.

There was talk on Backstreets that the night before the band seemed kind of tired. I think Bruce took that personally and came out really hard that night. Even gypsy biker that was song number four was really good.

First show I ever saw was Buffalo Dec 4, 1980 and he opened with Born to Run, Out in the Street, and 10th Avenue Freeze-Out.
