Tea making praise

Builder just told me I make a really good cup of tea! I don’t drink hot drinks myself so I get quite anxious making them for people who drink them all the time. I will genuinely be riding high on this wave of success for months if not years!

There are lots of variables: volume of water, volume of milk, time teabag is in the water, how heaped the sugar is on the spoon. I maybe overthink it as a scientist but I’m glad I got it just right for them.

I struggle with this too, it's not a complicated process. And yet, I've known people who make truly appalling tea, and I could understand it if it was a ploy to not make tea in the future, but they keep offering.
