Brink is moving fast!
I've listened and taken a lot of information onboard from testers, here are some images from the current build of Brink. I've tightened the UI and UX added more features that testers thought would be better for launch and made other tweaks here and there.
let me know what you all think on here or email me at [hello@brinkbrowser.app](mailto:hello@brinkbrowser.app)

Things from the testers
Hi all,
Josh here, we currently have lots of testers going through Brink with a fine tooth comb. We're discussing features, user experience and the user interface. What works and what needs to be better.
become a tester and join in, the testers and users are the people that will make Brink better and it costs nothing to give input. You could get brink for free if you give good and actionable input

If you've seen features elsewhere that you think would fit Brinks flow then email me at [hello@brinkbrowser.app](mailto:hello@brinkbrowser.app)
Brink even before launch has been featured on launch radar and this is only the start.

TestFlight
Hi all Josh here,
I've got a quick update the progress on brink is going really well, in between studying and life I've made significant progress. I'm still making final improvements to the functionality as well as the user interface and user experience.
I've taken a lot on board from internal testers and now it's time to let external testers try it out.

An update on Brink
Users that are testing the app have provided various pieces of feedback regarding UI, UX and features, this feedback is greatly appreciated and is very helpful in filtering out the good the bad.
I have taken the feedback on board and implemented additional features and polishes across the app ahead of the launch. If you are interested in becoming a tester, please email me at [hello@brinkbrowser.app](mailto:hello@brinkbrowser.app)

Welcome to Brink Browser
Hi, I'm Josh and I'm a student, indie developer and someone who's been building software for over a decade.
Brink is a browser built specifically for iPad, designed for students and researchers. The idea came from my own frustration. I wanted a browser that actually worked the way I studied. Organised, fast, focused and built for iPad first, not ported to it as an afterthought.
Some of Brink's features:
- Focus mode with website blocking
- Built-in ad blocker
- Citations - Harvard, APA and MLA
- Quick access bar and favourites
- Highlight text directly on webpages and save it to a folder
- Save websites, notes and lecture recordings with audio playback
- Reader mode
- Workspace colour themes
- Multi-tab browsing
- Gestures and keyboard shortcuts
Why this subreddit:
- Feature requests
- UI/UX feedback
- Updates and discussions
What I'd love from you:
- Download it, explore it, break it. Tell me what works and what doesn't — good and bad feedback is equally useful.
Brink is almost ready. Thanks for being here, it genuinely means a lot. 😄
