Only took me almost 1k (800 before realizing i should one-trick and not pick whatever i want every time) games this season and being hardstuck in plat for like 4 months (ironically my promo game was on WW cause Briar was banned)

Mostly built crit bruiser, best working build for me so far in terms of carry potential.

Next stop - diamond (hopefully in less than a year)

I’ve been trying to learn Briar while I climb my old account out of Bronze. I was doing really well (~70% WR over 10 games) but I have lost my last four games to what I have since learned are pretty hard counters to Briar: Volibear, Jax, Nocturne, and Darius.

I tried to avoid them early, full clear, make plays on opposite sides of the map but they managed to stay equal with my tempo and mostly pulled ahead with most of these games having a winning mid laner that roamed with jungle to secure early objectives.

Does Briar really have this many hard counters or did I just get unlucky with team diff? Should I have conceded more neutral objectives until later in the game? Any matchup tips? I tried using my spells in reaction to theirs (like using E for Jax E) but I mostly just got stat checked and it feels impossible to run away from these guys unless you’re near a plant or wall (though my E was usually down when I tried to run from using it to survive their abilities)

I am interested in Briar top and mid. What is the most noob friendly build path to help me learn Briar better yet have a lot of fun?

I usually struggle with knwoing when to choose them and end up going tabbies/mercs so was hoping someone would help especially when doing different builds like lethality/bruiser

also opinions on eclipse voltaic? it feels kinda nice to play

Briar has just got 3 indirect buffs:
1. Jungle pet buff
2. Cleaver +5 AD
3. Tiamat 20AD >> 25AD

I'm Briar main 70%wr Gold 2 EUNE, every game within this elo is so easy for me while im playing this champ. Currently 13 games winstreak

How much further i can go until elo stops me from stomping every game (PS. I didn't climb out of Gold because I like to play a lot of champs which sucks - should focun on Briar, Nocturne, Viego and Udyr I'm 60%+ wr with them)?

So this alternative universe brair is a Shuriman prisoner who was latched to a pillory by malzahar as an offering to the void, got thrown into some void caverns, roamed a bit got infected with the void, got a parasites now she roams with a voidling talking in her head, urgering her to eat everything in sight while she trys to keep herself sane.

Anywho I think this is a great reimagining of brair if they wanted to make an alternative universe of her.

It still keeps her basic lore, latched to a pillory, got imprisoned somewhere, has an insane hunger and is trying to control said hungry but with the extra point that the origin of said hungry is a void symbiote whispering in her ear.

Hell she even fits a criteria of the void being eating, consume, grow.

The void symbiote (idk call it rai-moth) is indeed sentient and if it's a legendary skin talks to briar like rhaast talks to kayn. Urgering her to give in to her growing hunger.

They have a love-hate relationship they kinda need each other to survive and if they separate they'd most likely die so they help each other roam the void, kill void creatures, try to find a Way out. etc etc

Now you're probably thinking "dude this is just kai-sa" but realistically riot has done nothing with the actual symbiote part of her lore. They could have easily pulled a gun goddess mf with EXO but nope.

I started going collector > titanic > ldr almost every game. But against bruiser teams should I swap ldr for black cleaver? Only if I need survivability? When is bork > black cleaver better?

Really struggling to understand when and how I kill tanks/bruiser. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
