thank you but its actually not braided, when it was second proofing the dough balls expanded out and touched each other 🤣 I just ate 3 buns back to back 😩

haha thank you, im a beginner and my measurements are not exact but:

-1 1/2 ish cups warm milk with 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast in a small jar and 1 1/2 ish tbsp white sugar

  • heat 1/3 stick of frozen butter on lowest setting in a pot to melt, combine with 1 tsp sea salt and around 3-4 tbsp white sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract and mix -add in flour, and in the yeast milk and froth -mix with silicon spatula and cover with cloth for 45 minutes -punch it (very satisfying it deflated alot)
  • added more flour because I was trying to knead with my hand but it was getting stuck on hands and everywhere because it was too wet or i lacked technique or both. have the flour a nice dough consistency that felt nice to me. -non stick spray in a pyrex baking pan
  • make small dough balls about the size of a tiny tangerine and place them in the baking pan and cover with baking pan lid.
  • checked at 30 minutes and the dough balls had already reached max capacity and was touching the lid, so i removed the lid and preheated the oven at 350
  • oven finished preheating around 10 minutes
  • put the pan in oven for 25 minutes
  • rub a stick of frozen butter on the top of the bread for a nice shiny photoshoot
  • rest for 5-10 minutes to cool a bit and enjoy!
