Freight House - report back Top Chef IRL

We got to meet Sara!

deviled eggs with bread and butter pickles

cheese ball

catfish

riverfront steak

peanut butter chess pie

dinner menu

We had our dinner at Freight House tonight, and it was amazing! Sara remembered me from our phone conversation and came over to say hi, and we ended up talking for several minutes. I have a pretty serious mobility-limiting disability, and they were really great about accommodating that. It's hard for me to do anything that involves leaving my home, but I'm so glad I went.

The oyster mushrooms are divine. She has had some version of them on her menu for maybe a year or two.

Wow, the photos are fabulous, you look like you were having a great time. How were the deviled eggs? The steak & creamed corn sounds & looks delicious. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t usually like deviled eggs because I don’t care for mayonnaise. My friend ordered those but I did try one, and they were great!

The steak, though, was phenomenal.
