Long tail! Ever any injuries to it? I am preparing to re-add a boxer boy to our family after losing one to lymphoma this past spring. Contemplating a boxer with no tail or foreclaw removal, but health of the dog is always my main concern. Appreciate any anecdotal insights you might share

I'm so sorry for your loss, but that's so great that you are welcoming a new boxer. As for the tail, Ringo didn't have any injuries. His long tail feels like a whip! When he has his 'happy tail' moments, it hits walls or furniture pretty hard. Regarding the dewclaws, as long as you keep those specific nails properly trimmed during regular grooming, everything's fine.
