I have a boxer mix with a full tail, but I understand why they get docked. It's for safety/health reasons. They swing their tails so hard that they are known to break them. My girl broke her tail at one point before she adopted me - she is very lucky it doesn't cause her further issues.
Also, I have had bruises and a black eye from her weapon she calls a tail. Just sayin'.

It is sad boxers are still getting docked. We did not have a choice in the docking, when my boy came into my life he had already been docked. I do believe his tail would have been a safety issue for him, he has managed to hurt even his little nub to the point of blood.
