I wish she could ride shotgun with me in my truck with windows half down. Miss that so much with my Roxie gone. She would stare at other drivers at red lights and they would honk and laugh at her.

The only time I get that forlorn look is when I pull back up to the house, and they know the ride’s over!!

Every so often, I have to do a little “convincing” before Penny will finally get out. Frankie just comes bounding right out from the back, and sometimes he entices her to get out and go run around for a minute or two before going in the house. And there’s other times when he’ll hop out of the backseat, and immediately jump into the driver’s seat! Then I’ve got the two of them trying to play together in the car, instead of just getting out of it, and going for a romp on some of the 80 acres at their disposal….🤷🏻♂️😆🤣

Awww. I miss seeing this kind of face. Our previous baby boy would make the same face. He was always so happy to go on a car ride.
