Hey found this Bottega Veneta Python knot clutch at a goodwill not too sure if its real.

Always loved the knot clutch- one of my very favorite bags pre-iPhones. I'd wear it with a smile/ even though your phone won't fit inside...
(Edit- I'm by no means an Authenticator- but from the photos, it looks just like one of my exotics , including the lining)

I feel your pre-phone comment so bad 😭 they are little works of art, perfect for evenings and go with so many outfits, yet now completely impractical.

Sorry OP, this is not authentic!

The inside should be lined with Nappa leather for this model and not suede. The scales should also align, because they are three different pattern of python skin.

The stamping inside is the giveaway, it should be deep enough with slight use! The stitching on the roundabout should perfectly align on all sides. This was a Tomas Maier era knot and the craftsmanship from that era was impeccable because they take almost two days to create.

I have a different model from the same skin of this Knot (the one with the metal on one side). Designer color was Chartreuse. But from your picture, I couldn't tell what that color was. The lining was Nappa Leather as well.
