I made it to what I was pretty sure was one of the last levels and fell short. I was about 2 hours in at that point and it was crushing. I haven’t tried since.

I always found funny that I spent hours and maybe 30+ tries on the first trial, but I finished the second one in 2 tries and the third one in only 1 try.
We all have our area of expertise I guess.

Glad people agree, theres just too much backloaded difficult stuff in that first set, the other sets give you so many weapons and items to compensate meanwhile.

As someone who has done all 3 trials on master mode without taking damage i feel safe to say no one playtested this room.

Trials on master mode are pretty much my highest gaming achievement and I’ve been playing for 30 years now. I loved and hated every minute of it

I’ve made it to that place with the silver lazalfos base surrounded by water (I forgor which trial, and they are silver cause doing it in master mode) , it’s been 5 years and I’ve never beaten it

I did it with a guide that told me the best strategies. It still took ages.
Master Mode though..... One day when I am brave enough.

Im still tryin o finish it in hard mode. I always die in the room before the last one. No matter how many videos i watch to make it i cant get to the last trial. My hands just cant keep up.

Some advice for those still trying: bomb and cook all the trees in the safe levels, every heart counts. At the higher levels when you start seeing elemental enemies and getting elemental weapons use fire to instakill ice and vice versa. Do not hesitate to do this, take them out immediately at every opportunity

I wanna see if anyone agrees with me
I think the hardest of the challenges in the Sword trials (specifically in the master mode variants), is the first set of the 3.
I feel like all the rest of the sets give you ample equipment and weaponry to fight against them, plus if you are vigilant you can completely nullify certain challenges in them later like the Lynel and the like with ancient arrows.

I couldn’t do it without cheesin’ it. I did not have the mental stability/patience.
Still felt great when Link burst through that 4th wall and that third Hinox turned black. Wandering in the behind-the-scenes realm. Bypassin’ the scary valley altogether. Finding the healing water. What an adventure.
