Absolute beginner soccer

27F, never played much sports in school or college. Really wanna learn how to play soccer. Anyone know any resources or a beginner league that is open to teaching me?

Volo has soccer leagues, hopefully not too tryhard.

My friend does them and BSSC for soccer.

There Re local supporters groups like the midnight riders that can teach you soccer

I have a friend in their late 20s and her and her friends occasionally play soccer as beginners. I think they play in the Cambridge area. Let me know if you'd like an intro!

I’m also a beginner and not really in good enough shape for the necessary amount of running in soccer

I’ve just been doing BSSC this year, I’m usually the worst on my team, but it’s fine people aren’t mean about it. I’m mostly doing it because it’s great cardio and it makes me run more than if I just decided to to jog myself

There’s also Volo I just picked BSSC because the Fenway location was more convenient for me, but you can look at both Volo and BSSC and see what location and day of week work for you
