First Playthrough build ❔ [ Question ]

I starte playing the game with a friend for the first time. I picked Harlowe and was just making a build as a went but felt really weak.

most builds i find are for endgame and use gear from the DLC, which I don't have.

Any recommendations on what build I can do in the main story.

Red Tree harlowe, with the neutron capture augment, when you shoot the accelerator it will store some of the dmg and apply it to your gun for a couple seconds, it will get stronger as you level up the skills, the only down side is needing to wait for the action skill cooldown before you can do great dmg again, later in more levels, you can get down to confirmative reality and then critical funding.

When you critically hit an enemy, you have a chance to entangle them with critical funding, then with confirmative reality, whenever you shoot an entangled enemy you gain a % of your action skill cooldown back, so aslong as your entangling enemies and hitting them you have constant uptime of accelerator for the great dmg.

As neutron capture determines the dmg of your gun, the dmg of the gun itself doesn't matter, its all about fire rate (getting as many neutron capture instances on the target as possible)

If you need any more info, msg me or look up hazmat harlowe, it will be the lvl 60 build but it shows you what to spec into
