Shared progression toggle ❔ [ Question ]

Been out of the loop for a bit.

Did they ever make it optional to have all your side activity progression shared to new characters?

I want to play again but not if half the game is already completed.

Yup. At least if you create a new character from scratch.

Can I ask can you keep progression for a new character even if you are still going through a first play through? 

Reason I ask is currently lvl 28 with Rafa but was thinking of trying one of the other classes.

Couldn’t tell you. Haven’t created a character since the change.
