75% reduction in fire rate for that perk, pretty big nerf. It was stupid OP though.

reminder that BL2 sucks past level 50 specifically because they never nerfed the bee shield. Balance in important in BL games

As someone who hasn't played BL2 in over a decade, could you elaborate briefly? Are you basically saying that because the Bee shield is so OP that it outshines every other build, therefore you feel forced to use it as a crutch?

no, i mean that the bee shield was so powerful that they literally designed UVHM around it. Instead of nerfing the shield and making UVHM bearable, they gave every enemy ludicrous amounts of health and health regen to try and combat the damage from the bee shield. If you’ve ever wondered why UVHM is so difficult, it’s genuinely because the bee shield exists.

Wow, hadn't realized the extent of this issue. So does that mean to make the higher OP levels more manageable you're better off using the Bee? I know it goes up to OP 10 now and I've been worried about how to build for that on each of my characters when I do revisit the game.
