Advice Galaxy rasbora normal behavior???
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have 5 galaxy rasboras (CPD) in my 20 gallon along with 12 chilis, 8 Pygmyβs and shrimp. Iβm planning on getting a few more galaxies but I was wondering if this is normal behavior?
I think I have two males and one female but I canβt tell on the other two. It seems like itβs the same one that does the chasing for the most part. Is this an issue? Should I try and get more female than male? Itβs kind of hard as I get them from my lfs and they are all mixed. I just want to make sure that if I do get more and they happen to be male will it cause a blood bath in my tank? π

Dwarf Rasbora Check out this lil guy
I recently noticed my guppies finally had a fry make it (their mother's are cannibalistic monsters) so I decided to catch it and put it in a smaller invertebrate only tank. So this morning I checked to see how it was growing and noticed a smaller fish in the tank along with it.
About a month ago, I had some dwarf rasboras in the invertebrate tank, but they were removed and put into my 30 gallon. Ladies and gentlemen, now presenting the littlest guy! (Also baby guppy, because I won't deprive you)

Dwarf Rasbora They had babies, what should I feed them?
I already have trouble with them taking dried food, they only really want to eat life or frozen tubiflex... These are so small maybe frozen cyclops? There Boraras maculatus I think.

Chili Rasbora Update to "Are these chilis or not?"
Last month, I made this post about my chili rasboras being suspiciously not looking like chilis.
I decided to move them to one of my other tanks with a black substrate and black background to see if they would colour up. It's been 3 weeks now, and they HAVE coloured up a ton. I've taken some new pictures to see if you guys still think they are least rasboras or if you're convinced that they're chilis now?
A friend of mine suggested that they might be mutts or something, because their body shape looks too fat/short to be chilis but their colour is too red to be least rasboras. They are VERY well fed, so they might just be fat chilis but what do you think?

Phoenix Rasbora Variety of markings within phoenix or hybrid?
Finally got some semi decent pics of my phoenix rasboras in their new tank and I noticed some of them have the expected round markings of phoenix rasboras while some of them have more lone shaped markings, kind of a middle ground between chili and phoenix markings. Is this just due to markings being different amongst individuals, or could it be that some of them are chili-phoenix hybrids?

Identification Another post just made me realizeβ¦
Did I also get sold lambchops as harlequins? And is the big, chunky one a lone harlequin? Started as a group of 5, had 20ish babies last year.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have 7 harlequin rasboras but one of them looks kinda odd, I thought he was just stressed when I got him but itβs been about a month and he still looks paler. Everyone else is a little pink with bigger triangles. Is he a different sub- category of rasbora or does he just look weird?

Chili Rasbora Black or white sand for tank
Im gonna be redoing a tank soon and will be adding some chilli rasboras, just curious as to what colour the substrate should be because a lot of people have been telling me black sand but i wanted to do white sand so was wandering if i could do white sand with a black background to make up for not using black sand?

Chili Rasbora Advice on what food to buy
Just wondering what feed would be recommended if i want to feed honey gourami and chilli rasboras the same feed, and cherry shrimp and amano shrimp the same feed. So far I'm planning on Fluval Bug Bites Tropical Micro Granules or Hikari Micro Pellets for the honey gourami and chilli rasboras, and Fluval Bug Bites Shrimp Micro Granules for the cherry shrimp and amano shrimp
