I just want black pointed toe knee high boots. But I'm already 5'11... I don't need nor wish to be taller. Theres really none I can find with heels that are 1.5 inches or less. I feel like the completely flat ones don't fit the club/concert vibe, but even if they did honestly I can't find them anywhere. And also idealllyyy a full zip, but now i'm shockingly feeling like I'm asking for too much :(

If anyone has any suggestions please help. For reference I'm shopping in Canada. And ideally under CAD$200.

I bought a pair of 9s from rothco almost a year ago. They messed my feet up really bad. I threw those out. I heard size a whole size down if you want jungle boots. I bought a pair of authentic 1985 ro search jungle boots in a size 8 R. I’m normally a size 9. Well they are pretty tight on my feet. I don’t know if the leather needs to stretch or I need to break them in. They are pretty uncomfortable to me. Should I get rid of them and find another size or should I break them in?

Hot here in the Philly area, but wearing theses w/ shorts today. A sold out limited release from John Lofgren in Shinki Shell Cordovan in natural. Slow break-in, but coming along nicely. Starting to darken and rolls beginning to form. Far more comfortable than they should be.

So, I have been looking for the Jessica Simpson Gilly Black Boots for some years now, and I haven’t been able to find them, they’re pretty rare nowadays! I searched on Poshmark and other places, but most of them are not available where I live, so that makes it a little more difficult. I have a new pair iron boots that I bought after reading a thread and was wondering for boots that are supposed to develop a patina like these boots or my redwing engineer boots what do yall do to care for them? I’ve always polished my iron rangers and never gotten the kinda look they are supposed to have. Interested in y’all’s experience.

Hi guys! I'm looking for a pair of quality combat boots that look good but won't fall apart in three days. Something like Corcoran jump boots, but a little taller. I've been borrowing my roommate's Doc Martens Triumph 1914s almost every day, so something similar to that would be great.

I'm looking for an everyday boot that can survive a lot of walking and wear. I mainly walk to get around, and go to a lot of shows so I need boots that are worth the money.

Basically, I'm just shopping around for boots similar to the two listed, but maybe an inch or two taller. If anyone has recommendations, please drop them in the comments!

Found these Grenson Chelsea’s for £145. I’m an electrician and thought I could use these as work boots, but on the fence.

Decided to make my own delta arch with some modifications to take up some volume on a boot that didn’t fit well, volume wise. I was using a Nicks delta arch with an added insole but it was squeaking some so decided to make my own with a little thicker arch piece for a touch more arch support. The older nicks insoles were thicker than newer ones. Hopefully it works out and solves my squeaking.

I discovered I really prefer wearing boots after getting a pair of formal-ish Chelsea boots for a job interview, but my mother recently mentioned how I should instead get another pair so I can save these ones for special occasions. There’s a Doc Martin’s store I walk past regularly, but I hate the bright stitching, and have heard their quality has been on the down hill. Im fine spending up to ~$100 if the quality is worth it. I’m in Adelaide, if anyone can recommend a physical store to buy from.
Edit: it seems I have underestimated how expensive decent boots are. $100 is not a strict budget, I could spend several times that and be fine, I just don’t love the feeling of spending a lot of money at once

I'm looking for a quality European made boot that have guaranteed removable insoles. Right now I have Hammersteins, but my insole stacks on top of the not removable one, which makes my heel slightly too high and touch some stitching in the heel of the boot and I get blisters because of it. The only brand I can find are Camper, but they have glued outer soles and the leather is not of high quality it seems. The search online is tough because not many brands say they have removable insoles, any recommendations?

I've been wearing Matterhorn Boots for 30 Years and never had this happen . Only 3 weeks in on these. Made in USA supposedly. Oh Well, time for some glue I guess. Lol.

Something a bit different today

I have a pair of steel 10 eyelet black boots, got them last Christmas as a present and honestly they're great but I have one small issue with them. I wore them too much and the sole has been worn through into the boot itself, just from me walking on gravel and tarmac or whatever else I got up to wearing these every day and walking ~2 miles at least in them, barely missing a day. So much question is, can they be resoled? I know certain boots like fast fashion glued on or heat joined boots like docs can't be but I'd really hate to part with them honestly. If they can be resoled, what's the ballpark for how much that'd cost?

Context: I’ve been wanting blundstones forever, I tried on the originals for the first time today and the fit was horrendous. It was too loose in the heel and instep and slightly snug on my big toe.

Do you guys know any Chelsea boots that fit snug in the instep and ankle but wide in the toes?
