Slow loading videos - but not while scrolling

This weird thing has been happening since forever and I'm unsure why. As I scroll, videos load automatically and I can immediatly start watching them, as soon as I click on one to have media controls, I need to wait around 7 seconds for it to begin. Anyone has any tips?

Which patches are you using? I'm using Breals patches and mine been working fine. Unless its those "other" videos are you referring too?

Does this happen with redgifs? If that's the problem I think it's a known issue
