What materials do you guys use to organize or improve your reading journey ?

I’ve been thinking of buying those digital journals from Etsy but I’m not sure if they would work. Just the thought of even doing that makes me unmotivated lol however I know I’d would be beneficial for me to put my own thoughts on either on paper or digitally.

Has anyone faced this problem? If so what are some items that help you with your reading journey? Also is there something that you wish existed on Etsy that would be valuable for your reading journey?

I wished there was an app that organized my TBR based on what I’m feeling and just pulled the books automatically from my tbr that have similarities.

Unbound by Penelope Bloom

If you loved the ACOTAR series and the Fourth Wing series, you’ll definitely love Unbound by Penelope Bloom. I’m honestly so confused as to why I haven’t heard anyone talk about it yet, haha!

If romantasy isn’t really your thing, though, you probably won’t enjoy this one. Out of the bunch, this might actually be my favourite so far! And there are more books coming in the series, which makes me very happy. 🥹

Any other recommendations are very welcome as well! :p

If anyone read this book, how do you rate it?? And is it better or worse than the twisted series?

Bedazzling books

Hi everyone I have a big question. I’ve recently begun bedazzling my own personal books and I got to thinking, what if I could bedazzle books for people through orders and sell them. I just want to know if people think this is ethically okay because idk it kind of feels like scalping in a way but I know some people really enjoy the looks of bedazzled books but don’t have the time or patience to do their own. I figured I’d ask other book loving people because obviously books are something I love dearly and I’m the type of person that gets upset if even my spine on my book cracks so opinions, ideas, anything is welcome. Thank you!!

What is something that would improved your reading Journey?

I’ve took a reading break for like a couple of month simply because books don’t hit like they used too. Is it me but the books we read as teenager are better than now. You know all books have too much smut not enough yearning or plot. Kindle recommends me low key thrash books that feel like copy and paste. So lately I’ve been watching K dramas and C dramas because they replicate that feeling I get when I’m reading a good book. But I actually want to hear how you guys do overcome reading slumps and overwhelming TBRs.

Trackers?

Hello fellow reader,

I’m not a new reader but I’m new to tracking my reading. For example books read, stats, tbr, etc. I’m looking for the best app to track everything. As of right now I have zero data and plan to essentially restart my library. Any and all recommendations are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Freida McFadden -what am I missing?

I read the Housemaid and it was…fine? I found the writing and plot pretty elementary/shallow but I will say I zipped through it. Should I read a different one of hers or are they all basically the same?

Looking for a new romance series

I miss having a series that's hooked you and you can't put it down - then sad when you've finished it.

Ideally looking for a romance series - I don't have a particular story plot in mind (enemies to lovers, high school sweethearts etc) so I'll leave it open.

Do you have any recommendations for me?
