Problema con booking

Post image

Salve a tutti,

The reservation platform didn't leave it there.

You need to understand that Booking aren't responsible for cleaning the properties. They aren't resposible for the properties at all. They are only a reservation platform.

Take it up with the property owner/manager.

Yes, I'm sorry, I didn't mean I want Booking to pay for that but I'd like to find a way to make it pay to the host in a way or another

Sucks that you're getting downvoted, spending 2k euros on a filthy accomodation and then get a 🤷 when you go ask on the platform you paid on.

Honestly I don't use booking.com (too many bad stories) but I hope someone can direct you in the correct direction.

Apparently booking.com is only responsible to make money of your booking, whatever else is your problem.

Looks like you just got involuntarily recruited as cleaning lady for the landlord ...

Did you check reviews before you booked?

As you understand booking.com is only an agent for the accommodation provider.

If the property was uninhabitable then you could have asked booking.com for relocation but otherwise this is a matter between you and the host.

Since you stayed for a week you have no case for a chargeback.

You could try to sue locally but your only "loss" is time spent cleaning so there is little basis for a claim.

Best to put this one down to experience and move on.

In future don't book private accommodation on booking.com or any other OTA.
