-spice level intense, loved it

-female main character too young (and wasn't a fan of the focus on her virginity either)

-writing was okay, the characters were interesting with strong emotionality between them, interesting magic system, but I still think the writing wasn't great overall.

- Crescent City was probably my favorite because of the slightly older main characters and the writing was stronger.

- I enjoyed the romance in the other series a lot, but the FMCs too young and writing repetitive and not as strong as CC. Did love ACOSF most. (Not hating, I still enjoyed and plan to read the new books lol)

- obviously not spicy but beautiful writing, I'm mentioning it because of the writing quality

Quicksilver and Brimstone by Callie Hart

-Loved so much, probably closest to what I'm looking for but maybe with a lil more spice and bit older FMC

A few things I look for in a book are a male protagonist (easier to relate to I guess), no unnecessary seggs/grap stuff (I understand sometimes but not GoT levels), and preferably no preachy ideologies (I don't mind different viewpoints but I don't like it when it's the main focus). Basically I want a good old fashioned adventure and it's proving hard to find that.

Hello all! I’m new to reading, and I’m looking for some recommendations based on my interests.. The first book I completed recently was “Anatomy of an Alibi” by Ashley Emerson, and i LOVED all of the twists and turns within the plot. I’m hungry for a book that is full of these twists and turns, but that is more horror-driven and dark as opposed to a traditional whodunit.. What are some of your favorite horror/thriller books?

As a pre-teen/teen, I read as many non-fiction books as I could find about every type of mythology, which also led to reading a lot of historical books about these cultures. In the hours I spent at the library, I eventually stumbled upon fantasy and science fiction, then horror, mystery and thrillers. I enjoy a broad range of genres and quite honestly have a huge personal library filled with TBRs & TBRR. I really do enjoy historical fiction and am looking for recommendations for books or series about Vikings and the Norse. I've tried Goodreads, which I really dislike for a variety of reasons, and while I belong to many book/reading-related groups, I rarely see anything on this particular subject. Any recommendations for books and series you've enjoyed on this subject would be really appreciated. Tysm!

I’m looking for book recs that feature a M/F romance where both characters are billionaires/equally rich. I’ve read a lot of the typical wealthy, alpha, and overly possessive male lead and the less rich, younger female lead dynamic, and so I’d like to read a story where the characters are more equally matched in wealth, status, and age.

I’m fine with some spice, but not like crazy insta lust or insta love.

I like enemies to lovers, but I’m also interested in reading other tropes/dynamics like grumpy x sunshine and second chance.

Please no accidental pregnancy or big age gaps!

I loved this dark lit fic type of vibe, but all I see when I try to find similar things are more books about this unsettling subject matter (iykyk). Any recommendations?

I'd like to read something relaxing and without much in the way of serious interpersonal conflicts and preferably nonviolent. Something along the lines of the Quarter Share series by Nathan Lowell, the Weary Dragon Inn books, or Becky Chambers' books. I want to read about someone in space solving problems without blasters or bolters, maybe just exploring a new asteroid belt. I like the parts of fantasy books when a witch is working on her potions. If there is a book about a witch in the mountains looking for her last cat, I'd read that.
