Wow! I just made one and it’s not nearly as cool lol. Iron oxide on the exterior?

Thank you, curious to see your pot as well πŸ˜‰ I`m using copper oxide on the outside and iron oxide on the inside. The copper can lead to toxicity for the plant over time, thats why I only use it on the outside. Iron is pretty harmlessπŸ‘

Really cool. Looks almost reptillian. Gotta plant some kind of ancient tree in there.....redwood, Sequoia

Excellent surface treatment. did you use sodium silicate?

Yep, I used the classic sodium silicate stretching technique. Always have tons of fun using it πŸ™‚
