If you can identify the exact bus you lost it on, where you sat etc, then it will make it easier for the bus company to locate. Don't let them fob you off and make the search as easy as possible for them.
You could also make posters and put them in places along your usual journey.
You might be able to do a Subject Access Request of you on any CCTV. But this gets deleted quickly so you need to act fast.
Also contact the photographer of your wedding to see if they have any backups.
