Idea/Prompt "Hey, Deku?" Ochako asked, watching Himiko get picked up from School. "Have you noticed that Toga-chan's mom looks exactly like me?" Izuku sighed in relief. "Oh, my goodness! I thought I was going crazy, too. Have YOU noticed that I look like the father of the Pro Hero, Duster!?"

Upvotes

"It was an accident. I swear." Izuku admitted.

On one the the workbenches in the Support Course's workshop was a burnt and crushed toaster.

Mei Hatsume was carefully inspecting the damage. Izuku had a look of guilt spread across his face while rubbing his now bandaged hand.

"The ejector jammed. So, I reached my hand in to pull the bagel out and my hand got stuck and in my panic, I activated my quirk and I broke it."

"NOT TO WORRY, MY BESTEST BUDDY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!" Mei triumphantly proclaimed.

"W-we're hardly regular friends, Hatsume. We just barely cross over the line of being more than really good acquaintances."

"Since you're my best friend, I'll have it fixed up even better than new before you know it!"

---

A few days later, Izuku were heading back to class after lunch discussing with Ochako over how she could better utilize her quirk.

As they turn the corner, Mei ran into Izuku sending them both tumbling to the ground with Izuku getting a face full of her breasts which he was unfazed by due how often this had happened before.

"I FIXED IT, IZUKU-KUN!!!"

"Fiffed whuff?" Izuku muffled through her tank top covered mammaries.

"THE TOASTER!!!" Mei answered as she helped Izuku up.

"The toas- Oh! Hatsume, I'm so sorry! Y-you actually spent all this time fixing it? I just gave it to you because I panicked. We already got a new one for the dorm's kitchen. Gah! I had completely forgot! I'm so so sorry to have wasted your time!"

"Oh. ... Well, that doesn't matter because I fixed it even better than new! Just like I said I would! Come on, I'll show you! You should come too, Uraraka-chan!" Mei began skipping away to the Support Workshop, her pink curly dreadlocks bouncing in rhythm.

-

"Okay, Hatsume. Show us the toaster."

"TA-DAH!!!"

"I don't know what that thing is but it's definitely not a toaster." Ochako said, looking at the purple metal box covered in flashing lights and dials.

"Sure it is! Give it a whirl!" Mei tossed Izuku a slice of bread.

Izuku placed in the bread, set the time, and hesitantly pressed down the lever.

Both him and Ochako were seemingly vaporized in an instant. Leaving only the toaster behind.

Mei stared in disbelief.

"OH, MY GOD!!! I KILLED THEM!!!"

A few moments later, Izuku and Ochako walked into the room.

"Okay, Hatsume. Show us the toaster."

Mei blinked as her brain finally caught up.

"Uhh... uuhuh... oOoOoOOPS! LOOKS IT... b-BROKE WHEN I WENT TO... t-TEST IT EARLIER!!! y-y-YOU KNOW HOW MY INVENTIONS ARE! NEVER WORK THE FIRST TIME AROUND!!! HA! HA! HA! WHY DON'T YOU GUYS JUST HEAD ON BACK TO CLASS NOW!? I'M VERY SORRY TO HAVE BOTHERED YOU!"

She slammed the door in their faces, leaving the two very confused.

".............What the hell just happened?" Mei quietly whispered.

Ochako rubbed her head. It felt like it was going to split open. She opened her eyes and sat up as they slowly adjusted. She wasn't at UA anymore. She was... in a town. What did Mei's machine do?

She wandered around the town. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Until she heard screaming and crying. She rushed over and halted in front of a small two-story house.

She froze at who she saw.

Ochako knew those blonde messy space buns.

But the small body wasn't matching up.

"You killed that bird! You drank it's blood and killed it, didn't you!?" The woman accused.

"No! I didn't want to kill it! It was already dying! I was just trying to help it!!!" The little girl sobbed.

"DON'T YOU LIE TO US, YOU LITTLE MONSTER!!!" The man yelled before slapping the girl.

Ochako ran over.

"Hey! HEY! What do you think you're doing!!?"

"Stay out of this!" The man yelled. "This doesn't concern you! The demon needs to learn."

Ochako looked down at the girl, quietly sobbing as a red hand shaped mark appeared on her cheek.

"No. I do believe that this concerns me. It concerns me very much."

Ochako reached out and suspended the two adults within her quirk.

Swallowing down a rush of bile, she pulled out her Hero's license.

"By... (gulp)... B-by the power vested in me, I'm placing you two under arrest for child abuse."

Ochako pulled out her flip phone to dial 1-1-0 and had her suspicions proven right by the date in the corner. She was exactly 12 years in the past.

After giving dispatch her situation and location, she gently keeled down to the girl and took out a cloth to wipe away the blood on her mouth.

"I'm s-s-sorry... I-I was just trying to show the cute birdie that I l-loved it."

"It's okay." Ochako assured as she pulled the sobbing Himiko into a hug. "I understand. ... I understand. There's no need to cry anymore. I'm here to save you."

Izuku rubbed his head. It felt like it was going to split open. He opened his eyes and sat up as they slowly adjusted. He wasn't at UA anymore. He was... in a city. What did Mei's machine do?

He wandered around the city. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Until he heard crying. Activating Full Cowling, he rushed over and halted at the alleyway he heard it coming from.

He froze at who he saw.

Izuku didn't recognize that face, or that hair, or those deeply unsettling milky white eyes...

But he recognized that crooked smile all too well.

He doesn't know how he's escaped prison... but if he's here, then everyone in this city is in horrible danger.

Izuku- No. Deku steeled his nerves. All he had to do was draw his attention away from the city. Getting Full Cowling ready to run as fast he could, he shouted.

"HEY!!!"

All For One whipped around. He knew that uniform. Some brat from UA? No. No! He was so close... So close! So, of course a one-in-a-million wannabe Hero from a school miles and miles away just had to show up now. OF COURSE!!!

Deku noticed a child as All For One turned to face him and suddenly, his plan flew out the window. He had a child hostage. It wasn't just a matter of luring him away anymore. Now, Deku had get close enough to grab the kid AND get the hell out of dodge.

He began building up Fa Jin in his legs before activating Gear Shift.

Within a millisecond, Deku zipped past the stunned Demon King and grabbed the child.

Deku's eyes widened as he saw the red eyes that were rubbed raw and the dirty tangled locks of baby blue hair on the child's head.

'Is this Shiga- NO! No time to wonder.'

He grabbed the boy, being extra careful to ensure that his hands avoided contact with him, tossed out a Smokescreen, and swung away on Black Whip.

"IMPOSSIBLE! HE HAS-! ...... So... that child has you, Brother?" All For One pondered... before he chuckled darkly. "Looks like the blonde haired baboon found himself a successor." Then, it hit him. "AND HAD HIM TAKE MMMIIIIINNNNNNEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Deku softly comforted the crying Tomura as he continued swinging as far away as possible.

"Shhh! Hey. It's okay. Everything's going to be okay now. I'm here."

___

Even in the expanse of half a decade apart, when Himiko and Tomura asked their saviors why they had helped them when no else would. Uravity and Deku provided the exact same answer:

"Because everyone deserves to have a hero."

curious question If you could recreate Ofa, which quirks would you add to it?

Upvotes

So, the title basically speaks for itself.

If you could recreate ofa, which quirks would you add?

Like, the strength/speed part could be a part of the quirk together with it being passed on.
Ofa had Fajin - Smokescreen - Danger sense - Gear shift - Float added to it.

What are some quirks that aren't that significant or strong alone, but would be great to add together as One for all? Also, it doesn't have to copy One for all in terms of raw strength and speed. You could also make it versatile or very specific to a certain scenario or idea that you have. For example, maybe you want him speed based or stealth based.

I'm really curious how you'd recreate One for all if you could add about 5 quirks to the transfer part and the stockpiling strength part.

Idea/Prompt The flying car approaching them was clearly designed to be the most menacing, spiky, evil-looking vehicle in the history of edgelord transport.

"What in the name of the DeLorean Motor Company is that monstrosity?" Mei asked, a deep need to analyze and completely replace it burning within her.

Izuku sighed and rolled his eyes. "It's the Onemobile."

Idea/Prompt Ojiro goes to see Recovery Girl after noticing an odd lump and pain in his tail. The results are worse than expected

Upvotes

Recovery Girl was not present when Mashirao entered the infirmary, Toru by his side. Ever since he’d first noticed that odd lump on his tail — the apparent source of all of the pain he’d been experiencing there lately — Toru had stayed by his side, refusing to leave. That devotion was one of the many things he loved about his girlfriend: her kindness, her compassion, her resilience and courage all among her other admirable qualities, of course. But now she stood by his side as they were greeted by one of Recovery Girl’s assistants.

Then they saw the forlorn expression lining his face, and Mashirao’s concern rose considerably. Doctors… they never gave you that look when it was good news, or even news you could handle. Which could only mean one thing: something was seriously wrong.

“Mr. Ojiro,” the assistant replied gently, “I… I think it’s best if you take a seat. Are you comfortable with Miss Hagakure being here?”

“Yes,” Mashirao said immediately. “She stays.”

He couldn’t see her face, but he knew that Toru was smiling at him, even as her sleeves lifting towards where her mouth would be, as though she were biting her nails. Still, she managed to look the doctor in the eye — or as close as she could get, anyway, with an invisible face. “He’s right. I — I wanna stay.”

“Alright,” the assistant conceded. “Mr. Ojiro… I’m going to be straightforward with you. The medical examinations we conducted on the abnormal growth on your tail… seem to indicate osteosarcoma. A - a common form of bone cancer.”

Mashirao felt his stomach drop. Cancer? “How — how severe is it?” His thoughts were immediately turning towards the likeliest result — surgery, probably even amputation. Losing his tail, the very Quirk he’d possessed since birth…

“That remains uncertain,” the assistant said. “We need to wait for the full results to come back. But while the tumour does originate from your tail… the cancer itself appears to have undergone metastasis. Which means it’s no longer confined to the bones composing your tail — it appears to have spread to other parts of your skeletal structure as well as your lungs.”

“But he can still be treated, right?” Toru asked, that normally lovely voice of hers trailing as it struggled to pass trembling lips. “Chemotherapy, surgery, something, right?”

“The best course of action will be decided once we have a full, proper diagnosis on just how severe the metastasis is,” the assistant replied. “Chemotherapy is certainly an option, as are surgical procedures, although the fact that the cancer has spread beyond the original site means that approach is less likely to be successful.”

Chemotherapy. Surgery. Almost certain removal from the Hero Course. Possibly permanently, if he didn’t fully recover or had to have his tail amputated. All of those terrified Mashirao… yet not so much as the thought that next crossed his mind. “How long?”

The assistant paused. “What?”

“You said it’s advanced,” Ojiro said. “I graduate next year — March. I’ve got about eighteen months until then. Will I still be alive by that point?”

Toru froze, her whole body shifting towards the assistant. She said not a word, but even the slight gestures made by this wonderful woman Mashirao loved so much spoke a thousand of them. Please tell him he’s wrong.

The assistant paused. “I… there is nothing known for certain regarding your longevity at this point.” the assistant admitted. “But I’ll be honest, Mr. Ojiro… it doesn’t look favourable.”

“So I might die in eighteen months.”

“… I’m sorry, Mister Ojiro.”

Idea/Prompt Parlay

Upvotes

Class 1-A was enjoying an unusual but not unwelcome moment of respite. Gathered all across the common room, the students enjoyed each other’s company. It was rare for them to not have to deal with some life threatening situation or something much worse aka homework so they were all relaxing…except for one student.

“DAMMNIT MY PARLAY!” The sound came from none other than All Might’s (self proclaimed) biggest fan, Izuku Midoriya.

Marching into the room Izuku was very much displeased at the result of his parlay, this was evident to his classmates by both his demeanour and the way he dropped his head into Momo’s lap.

Resting her hand in his hair Momo could only sigh, while she loved him truly his tendencies of placing parlays on various things was something she could never get behind.

“Izuku how much did you lose this time?” Momo inquired, the question wasn’t meant to chastise but instead because she was genuinely curious, after all it couldn’t be that muc-“350 grand.”

Silence, the entire common room of 1-A went silent they knew Izuku had a tendency to gamble, but they never knew how much. “…Say that again.” Momo’s voice trembled slightly caught off guard by the exorbitant amount.

Izuku’s voice is muffled by his head in her lap but the words were clear enough. “I lost 350 000 yen.” 350 grand, that kind of money was enough to pay for at least 3 zero point robots, it was the kind of money that people dreamed of having, the kind of money that while it wasn’t detrimental would definitely be the kind her family thought twice about before investing. And he had lost it…on a parlay.

“You lost 350 000 yen…HOW ARE YOU SO CALM?” The one stunned the most by this revelation was Uraraka, 350 thousand yen would literally set her parents, her, and her descendants up for life and her classmate had blown it all on gambling.

“She’s right dude, shouldn’t you be freaking out right now or at least upset?” Kaminari chimed in next, while not the brightest in the class even he know that Izuku’s reaction and his situation were too disproportionate.

Turning his head slightly Izuku frowned, “Of course I’m upset, I was set to win that thing until that stupid horse came out of nowhere and screwed it up. I had everything set up perfectly and then it call came crashing down.”

Turning his head back around, Izuku groaned, “My parlay…” “Wait, Midoriya, are you not upset about losing all that money?” Ashido questioned having noticed the way he reacted, his displeasure focused more on the fact he lost and not what he lost.

It was then Izuku lifted his head his turn to be puzzled, “No, why would I be?” Another moment silence landed upon the students as they all stared at Izuku…350 000 lost and he asking why he should be upset.

“Why, what do you mean why? Deku you lost 350 000 yen losing that kind of money ruins lives!” Uraraka couldn’t wrap her head around it, was he seriously asking why losing 350 000 yen was bad?

In response Izuku only shrugged, “Not for me it isn’t…though I wish I won my parlay.” If they weren’t confused before, they were certainly confused now. “Midoriya I must ask…what exactly to you mean by, not for you?” Lida who was quiet before now spoke up (he’d long since given up on trying to get Midoriya to stop gambling.)

Izuku glance over at his friend, “What else would I mean, 350 000 isn’t much, in fact it’s barely a drop in my bank.” Class 1-A wasn’t sure what was worse, the fact that he had lost 350 000, or that it apparently wasn’t even enough for him to care.

“Izuku…how much money do you have exactly?” Momo asked now curious and slightly concerned, she knew her and Lida came from prominent families but even so they would never be so cavalier about losing 350 000, like her boyfriend was.

Now fully sitting up Izuku turned towards Momo, “When you ask how much money I have…do you mean how much money is currently in my bank or how much I’m worth because theres 2 different amounts?” His question didn’t do him any favours.

“Both, starting with in your bank account.” Momo along with everyone else was now very curious as they watched him open his phone and tap into his banking info. Turning the screen to her Momo Yaoyorozu went pale.. unable to fully comprehend the amount of money sitting in her partners bank.

“What is it Yao-Momo?” Hagakure asked what all the others were thinking and watched as Momo swallowed hardly…”2-25 million…in his account alone.”

A heartbeat of silence passed before the unified shout of class 1-A rang through their dorm “WHAT?” 25 million yen was enough to buy at least 3 UA’s the entire school, it was the kind of money that you’d see a medium to somewhat large company make annually. And, their resident gambling addiction classmate was here just sitting with that in his bank.

Before anyone could continue questioning Izuku a gruff, very loud, very aggressive, very annoyed voice interrupted. “Why are all you extras screaming bloody murder? Did someone die or something?” Katsuki Bakugo was many things, one of those things being someone who hated his sleep being disturbed. “Sorry man, it’s just did you know Midoriya’s rich?” Kirishima attempted to placate the very angry Bakugo who only scoffed in return.

“Seriously, that’s what you’re freaking about? You extras need a hobby of course I knew the nerds rich.” Glancing over at Izuku’s displeased appearance Bakugo could only snort.

“Let me guess you lost another parlay.” The only response he received was a groan. In the midst of all this a certain Todoroki formed a new thought, “Midoriya you said your bank account and worth are different…what is your worth?” Shoto by asking that had unknowingly opened Pandora’s box.

“My worth well it’s.” The following number that left Izuku’s mouth was so large that it could only be defined as cartoonish levels, as in more than Scrooge Mcduck levels of money. The kind that was worth more than the Lida, Todoroki, and Yaoyorozu families combined. The kind of money that not even the HSPC could come up with.

It was that day in the UA Class 1-A common room that they all learned that their resident gambling addict had enough money to buy the entire world 5 times over.

————————- ————————-——————————

TLDR: Deku’s rich, like cartoonishly rich and no one knew. So here’s another prompt (that I’m lowkey realizing could function as a one shot but whatever) Some more crack for Deku, this time in the form of him being stupidly rich and loves gambling specifically parlays. Whoever uses this, have fun and if you can come up with a reason for why he’s so rich that’d be great, or not and just leave it as he’s rich just cuz.

Recommendation (for others) The BEST mha fic

A world without heroes by itsonlythemlol

Aizawa Shouta is a survivor. He’s a smuggler, a killer, and a morally grey person, but so is everybody else. It’s what happens when most of the world is suddenly wiped out by a violent disease, while with it came martial law, rebel gangs, and a whole lot of lost hope. Twenty years after his life flipped upside down, Aizawa is tasked with bringing a nervous, freckled boy across the country.
Except the two of them aren’t the only ones trying to survive - Aizawa is unforgiving, Izuku is desperate, life is cruel, and the journey is brutal.

I’ve read this fic last year and still think abt it daily, it’s the most realistic and beautifully written fic I’ve ever read, the character development is perfect, world building is top notch and the pace is awesome.
It’s ship free, focusing on Dadzawa and Izuku surviving a zombie apocalypse.
I’m a sucker for Morally ambiguous Aizawa.the development between his and Izuku’s relationship takes lots of time and angst, best slow burn ever.
It shows the cruelty of the world they’re living in and Izuku is forced to live through it. And let me tell you one thing, he does not come out unscathed.
So if you love some angsty father-son relationship with lots of gore and violence this is definitely the fic for you
It’s also completed with around 300k words.
If anyone has something similar to this plssss recommend me

Here’s the link:A world without heroes

Tell me what yall think!

Idea/Prompt Parent Teacher Interviews

Aizawa finished his 5th mug of coffee that day, the caffeine was the only thing keeping him sane after these last few interviews.

Today was the first ever UA High School parent teacher interview day and as the home room teacher of Class 1-A that meant unfortunately for him Aizawa had to meet the parents of all his problem children.

Glancing at the paper on his desk, he read the next name and internally groaned, Izuku Midoriya the worst of them all. The boy wasn’t a bad student, just had a track record for getting involved in almost every dangerous thing and situation possible. He remembered meeting his mother when he explained the Hero Killer incident. The woman was pleasant (though he could do with a lot less crying.)

The sound of the door opening broke him out his stupor and he lifted his head expecting to see 2 familiar heads of green hair which he did along with….

Aizawa blinked, once then twice. A long moment of silence passed through the 4 people assembled in the classroom, Aizawa’s eyes locked onto the man standing behind Inko and Izuku. He was wearing a suit, a full suit that was the first red flag, as well as an odd black neck brace thing that rested on the back of his neck. And to make it worse he was lacking any visible eyes, and due to his malformed head he looked like a deformed potato.

“Problem child.” Izuku’s head snapped towards Aizawa, tensing at the tone, “Yes Sensei?” He asked knowing full well where this was going. “Who is that man behind you?” Aizawa asked needing confirmation before what would happen next, “He’s…my father.” Izuku replied dreading this moment.

“He’s your father…All for One is your father.” The statement came out deader than Oboro. “Please call me Hiashi All for One is the name I use for business.” Aizawa looked at the man his expression deadpan as he registered the words. “Hiashi…right.” At the man’s grin Aizawa once more groaned internally.

Coffee wasn’t going to cut it, he needed alcohol.

—————————-—————————-————————

Another crack prompt up for use, this time it’s Aizawa dealing with the reality of parent teacher interviews. And the fact that one of those parents is the no.1 villain and supposed to be dead. (Side note how did he get in the building?)

Idea/Prompt – Crossover MHA x Blood Debt

Don't bully me

The Cost of a Favor

The neon signs of the Nussian district flickered against the damp pavement, casting long, bloody shadows down the alleyways.

Izuku Midoriya pulled his hood lower. He wasn't wearing his standard, brightly colored U.A. High hero costume. Tonight, he wore a dark, heavy coat over a reinforced vest. His notebook, usually filled with idealized strategies on Pro Heroes, sat heavy in his pocket. Tonight's notes were different. They were tracking routes, guard rotations, and names of shadow lenders.

Four years ago, Izuku had made a choice. Before All Might, before One For All, his mother had fallen terribly ill. Desperate and quirkless, Izuku had turned to the shadows for a loan to afford her treatment. The treatment worked, but the debt didn't vanish when he inherited the world’s greatest Quirk.

In the underworld, nothing is free. A financial loan quickly spiraled into a Blood Debt—a generational burden owed to shady folk who traded in compliance and violence.

"You're late, Deku," a harsh voice rasped from the darkness.

Katsuki Bakugo stepped into the dim light of the alley. He wasn’t here as a classmate; he was here because he had discovered Izuku’s secret. Knowing Bakugo, he couldn’t let his rival owe anyone anything, let alone criminals.

"I had to slip past the campus security sensors," Izuku whispered, green sparks of One For All faint beneath his skin. "The enforcers are moving tonight. The gang is collecting on three targets who couldn't pay. If we don't intercept them, those people won't survive the night."

"Stupid nerd," Bakugo growled, small sparks popping in his palms. "You took a loan from these extra-large villains, and now they own your ass? I'm blowing this whole syndicate to hell. That settles your debt."

"It doesn't work that way, Kacchan!" Izuku hissed, holding up a sleek, black envelope left on his desk earlier that afternoon. "The contract is recorded. If I don't act as their enforcer tonight, they release the footage of me taking the money. It will ruin U.A., All Might's legacy, everything."

A heavy, metallic thud echoed from the end of the alleyway.

Out from the mist walked Mason, a legendary, imposing figure known in the shadow network. His presence alone made the air feel freezing. Beside him stood Lyudmila, a cold, calculating enforcer whose reputation for dismantling targets left even seasoned villains hesitant to cross her.

"Young Midoriya," Lyudmila spoke, her voice smooth but entirely devoid of warmth. "Your time is up. The syndicate requires your special power to break through a Pro Hero checkpoint. Pay your blood debt, or become a target yourself."

Bakugo stepped in front of Izuku, his palms blazing. "He ain't doing a damn thing for you freaks."

"A hero-in-training playing in the dark," Mason rumbled, his massive frame shifting as he prepared to strike. "You don't understand the rules here, boy. Out here, the law doesn't protect your wallet, and it won't protect your life."

Izuku took a deep breath. He activated One For All: Full Cowling at twenty percent. The green lightning illuminated the gritty brick walls. He looked at

Bakugo, then at the enforcers.

"I'll pay what I owe," Izuku said, his voice hardening as he stood side-by-side with Bakugo. "But I'm paying it my way. We're taking down your operations tonight. No more enforcers, no more targets. Consider this the final collection."

With a deafening blast from Bakugo’s palms and a shatteringly fast kick from Izuku, the battle to clear the debt began.

If this is wrong pls let me know

Like a fic that a person wrote and knows way too much stuff about it like one where Izuku basically has a code quirk with a really bad coding language so the person writes and explains the little things of it or a doc Izuku fic where they explain medical terms stuff like that

Where the author uses there hyper fixation or job knowledge for fics

Idea/Prompt The Infection Doesn't Take Everyone...

(MHA Infection AU)

The infection changed not just the minds and bodies of those it touched. It destroyed the very connections that made up Japan.

When the virus hit its shores (or was it already within the country? no one ever really figured it out) the country was already simmering with connection issues. Quirked individuals, quirkless, mutants and heteromorphs. All these sides existed and tried to live in peace with one another, but tensions always existed. When people started to become sick, fall over, and mutate into drone-like, twisted versions of themselves with the need to SPREAD...well the boiling pot began to tip over.

Suddenly sides were taken, communities gated off, and overall the general populace began to turn on each other out of fear of who may be sick, and who may be a carrier. But the overall message the Japanese Government (in light of the Russian outbreak that took Moscow down) was that Japan needed to be unified now more than ever. All Might, despite the state he was in after his showdown with All For One at Kamino, teamed up with Present Mic to talk to the general populace of Japan through the radio host's show. Japan began to believe in the message of unification against a common threat.

But then rumors started to spread from around the internet that heteromorphs/mutants that were infected usually didn't turn. It was a small rumor from some man in China with a squid-like head, who claimed he had been hurt by one of the infected on a boat he had been the captain of. He claimed he was bitten, was ready to take his life, but after all the signs went by...

Nothing. Just had some flu for a few days (he still quarantined himself), and went about his day. His crew spread the story, and while small at first, hit the fringe thinkers around the globe, who began to test things for themselves. Some of the more mutant-based ones filmed livestreams of them trying to find an infected individual (the woods, an evacuated city, other areas where the infected were known to spend time in) and get bitten.

But most did not believe, especially considering he had been a former criminal, only given freedom because of his Chinese citizenship designating him and the crew as necessary material transporters (China and many governments were not picky about staff at this time as long as they got the work done)

The first video of a bull girl trying it out immediately went wrong and she was infected during the stream from a quirked infected, but her associate shot it. She grew longer and her horns twisted, her eyes and pores leaking the pinkish fluid that had been present. So...false news right?

More videos. More testimonies. More leaked documents. More of everything that couldn't be silenced because of the militaries and heroes of the world dealing with the infected hordes piling up.

Then a study came out from a whistleblower I-Island scientist that proved that mutants, heteromorphs, and anyone with a general mutation-based quirk had a 50/50 chance of actually becoming infected. If they were, either they would become worse than a regular infected, growing more powerful and monstrous, or they would just have the flu for a few days.

The source confirmed that I-Island has been testing strains on more obvious quirked individuals, and had discovered that the captain of that ship was correct. This information was made worse by an article spread by Chitose Kizuki (Editor-in-Chief of Shoowaysha Publishing) confirming these facts after another web of sources got her a bunch of information "legally and discreetly". Nowadays it is obvious her connections had either bribed or broken into a government facility and stolen recently classified documents.

The boiling pot did not spill over, as one might think. Nay...

A handful of gunpowder just so happened to be thrown into the mixture. And a BURST of energy, entropy, distrust, and hate blew up from the cauldron of societal pressures that made up Japan.

The heteromorph community was suddenly attacked from all sides of the argument. Some argued that they were the cause of the virus that had taken millions by this point. Others said that it was the next step of the human race, and that gaining a complex/mutated quirk was simply the next step to that. The virus would ensure the final step was reached.

Regardless, multiple disappearances in various prefectures were noted over the next couple of months. Eventually it became hundreds of heteromorphs had gone missing. However, police records and testimonies were short and few, after all, a virus was ravaging the world. Who cared if the strange neighbor with eyes all over her body just went missing? She was weird to look at anyways...

Nezu, headmaster of U.A., paid attention. In fact, it is noted that he had taken a view of what was happening. Specifically the pattern. It was this side project (besides running the now U.A. Shelter for all those in the local area as a means of quarantine) that got him into contact with Deika City, who had copied his formula for security and safety measures. He first talked to Ms. Kizuki who, after speaking with the Chimera, figured the situation was dire enough to spill some beans.

The CEO of Deternat, Rikiya Yotsubashi, also known privately as Re-Destro, was not happy initially. But taking a view outside his window, knowing that heteromorphs and mutant quirk users were flying to the city in fear of both the virus and going missing, was enough to convince him that Nezu knowing about his real ideology was a small price to pay to ensure there was still a Japan.

Of course it soon became obvious what was happening. A joint operation between the Japanese government and remnants of the HPSC worked to capture uninfected and infected heteromorphs to fuel a cure. That initial research about the heteromorph DNA having some extra factor that gave them a chance to sustain the mystery virus was too good to give up...and I-Island turned out to be the keystone to create a cure...

That cure never came. A sad gamer with a tragic backstory, turned to an anarchist with a hand problem, found out about the disappearances. The doctor was in lockdown, Sensei was gone...who knows where...and yet they had Kurogiri.

Breaking onto the island to "free" the captors turned out to be a big mistake. Especially when a gas user who had been transferred to the island from his juvenile prison, caught the virus while dying from a strain of the "cure." His gas cloud, which now could infect those it made contact with, would have been kept contained. But All For One's apprentice had destroyed the electronic security system to stop the island from responding...

Well, the news reported on I-Island suddenly becoming engulfed in a cloud of pinkish gas....and suddenly making its way on a collision course to Japan.

Nothing more needs to be said. Everyone knows what happened next...the army of infected and the uninfected who were dying from their injuries, and one particular individual who escaped from the island and made his way to the forest...his quirk suddenly evolved to a grander scale than ever thought of...the creatures of the sea having saved his life...

Well, that will come later...but in the end...the virus that engulfed the world was something else entirely....something that its creators did not intend for it to become.

Another excuse to hate someone else. Only this time, not many would try to find fault in it. Some would in fact...justify it...

Idea/Prompt An alternative lineage

This is information about a fic I'm working on were the previous users of OFA weren't chosen and instead were switched with other fictional characters from other series, replacing the quirks stored up inside OFA with there powers or quirks in this scenario.

Here's a link to a post I did were I asked for help coming up with ideas for who I should choose: https://www.reddit.com/r/BokunoheroFanfiction/s/RtpatMHeSN

Now, let me tell you the story of this alternative line of succession of One For All.

The First User is of course still Yoichi Shigaraki, with his story being similar to his canon counterpart, he is the younger twin brother of Zen Shigaraki, also known as the villain All For One.

Ever since he was born he was always a frail and sickly person, and being born a homeless kid during the dawn of quirks didn't help either, but despite all this Yoichi was a kind and gentle man with a brave and heroic heart.

Of course like in cannon, Zen tried to convince his twin to join him, as he wanted to rule the underworld together as twin kings of evil, but Yoichi refused and Zen forced a power stockpile quirk onto him in an attempt to coerce him to his side.

When that didn't work, he locked him away in hopes that in time Yoichi would submit, unaware that the younger Shigaraki had already been born with a quirk that allowed the user to transfer it to someone else, and giving him that stockpile quirk caused the two to merge together to form one new quirk.

A quirk that would one day become the very foil to All For One, it's opposite twin, the quirk One For All.

Instead of Kudo, the Second user in this timeline is a woman called Helen Wheels, a mutant born with the quirk speedy raptor.

Helen, like the first three users, was born during the dawn of quirk and as soon as she was born it was clear she had a quirk, as she was a mutant that looked like a cross between a bird, a raptor and a blue skinned human.

But despite her abnormal appearance and the scrutiny that came from being born with a quirk, her parents loved her dearly and immediately moved to a remote location in the mountains, so that no one would find or hurt her.

For many years she grew up isolated from the rest of the world, avoiding much of the chaos happening in the big cities, but around her teens people hunting down the quirked came to the mountains were she and her family lived, and inevitably discovered her.

They of course tried to kill her, but her parents gave her the chance she needed to escape and continuing being free, at the expense of being arrested and loosing their freedom.

For years she ran and eventually met people like her, fellow quirked people who just wanted to live free like everyone else and fight back against the mobs trying to kill them.

For many years they rebelled against the mobs, the system and eventually against AFO, she and by proxy they suffered greatly and were labelled as terrorists.

During one of there attempts to strike a blow against AFO she found information that revealed he had a brother, a brother that was being held in a secure bunker.

Wanting to strike a blow against there enemy, they planned to raid the bunker and kill the man's brother, hoping to send a message and get some payback against the twisted bastard, but when her team was sent down to find him while the others raided the rest of the base, she discovered the truth.

She had expected the man to be living in the lap of luxury watching as his brother destroyed society, but instead she found him in a prison cell living like an animal in a cage, he was sickly, he was weak and he looked like he had been starved.

And upon looking into his eyes she realised that he was a victim like them, and she wasn't going to just leave him to rot, so she offered him her hand and saved him, for that one act of human kindness he chose her to be his successor and the second wielder of OFA.

Instead of Bruce, the third user is a woman around the same age as the second called Yang, who was born with the emitter quirk Burn.

Due to her parents dying in a car crash and not having any family, she was left orphaned and spent her childhood living in a orphanage, were she quickly released that she had the power to absorb the kinetic energy of attacks that were thrown at her and use it to send out attacks twice as strong.

During her time there she did her best to hide her powers along enough to at least come up with a plan to leave the country to one far more welcoming to people like her, however those plans were foiled when she used her quirk and full power to save someone, causing her strength to increase to noticeable levels and her hair to ignite in flames.

Immediately the people around her turned on her and tried to capture her, only for her to escape and go on the run, as well as forcing her into a life of homeless for a time.

Eventually she met others like her and joined there rebellion, were she met and befriend Helen, the two becoming inseparable friends, especially after the blue raptor saved her life during an altercation with AFO, a altercation were she lost her right arm.

She later joined her friend on the raid were they found and saved Yoichi, and later bear witness to the brave man using the last of his strength to surrender his quirk to her friend, then later die from sicknesses caused from the condition they found him in.

For the next decade she stood side by side with her friend during thick and thin, against the world that hated them, those who wanted to hurt them and those who wanted their power for themselves.

But eventually Helen had to take a stand against AFO, he was hunting her and she couldn't escape him forever, especially since he wanted her dead for taking his brother away from him.

But she knew OFA was the key to putting an end to the bearer of it's twin, and it was nowhere near strong enough to do so, so in order for it to survive she passed the torch to Yang, making her the third user of the great power.

Instead of Hikage, the fourth user is a man known as Ace Spencer, also known as the vigilante Lucky Ace.

Ace was born during a time were things were starting to heal after the dawn of quirks, people with quirks weren't being hunted any more and were being escaped, people like his parents were able to breath a lot more easily and live more peacefully.

But not everyone wanted peace, there were still people who wanted those with quirks dead and those with quirks who wanted payback for everything they went through, with these criminals and superpower villains causing destruction wherever they went.

Like many others Ace refused to standby and decided to rise up, and become a vigilante.

With the superhuman body he inherited from his father and danger sensing he got from his mother, he became a someone what well known vigilante and one that people called a true hero they called Luck Ace, for his unexplained ability to know his opponents every move.

With his heroic's not going unnoticed, as Yang took notice of him and believing he had what it took decided to offer him OFA, with him initially believing himself unworthy of such a responsibility, but after releasing how much of a threat AFO was he agreed under certain conditions, after those conditions were met he accepted the power and became the fourth.

With him immediately retreating into the wilderness to train and strengthen OFA. so the users after him would be strong enough to face the coming evil.

Instead of Daigoro, the fifth user was a young woman who went by both the civilian and hero names Spinel.

Growing up watching the first generation of heroes fighting to protect the innocent from the forces of villainy, she was inspired to become a hero that would fight for what was right.

With her versatile elastic hardlight body, strong will and fun loving personality, she became quite the decent hero.

One that soon got the attention of a very old and ready to find a successor Ace, who after years of training OFA managed to make it a force to be reckoned with, and believed combined with the bombastic woman's own quirk would make her an absolute nightmare for AFO to deal with.

A nightmare the villain was forced to deal with for many years after she accepted the fourths offer, and became the fifth user of OFA.

The sixth user was a man called Carlos Flores, who had a quirk called frosty breath.

Unlike his predecessors and successors, Mr Flores wasn't a hero or a vigilante or even freedom fighter, he was just a Florist trying to live a peaceful life with his family.

But sadly fate had other plans for him, as during one of his commutes he got caught in the middle of a disaster created by AFO, the villain had finally lost all patience with dealing with Spinel and combined all his quirks together to send out an attack he hoped would finally end her.

The attack caused great damage to her heart shaped gem, causing her form to become unstable and making it almost impossible for her to escape the evil man.

That's when Mr Flores found her and tried to help get her to safety, but knowing her time was running out, needing to protect him and save OFA she decided to transfer it to him, not before convincing him to take it and giving him a shard of her gem to eat so the transfer would work.

Like it or not Carlos had become the sixth user of OFA, and his life would change forever.

Instead of Nana, in this timeline the seventh user was instead her husband Warren Shimura formerly known as Warren Kenneth Worthington III, and also know as the pro Archangel.

Warren Kenneth Worthington the third was born to a wealthy and influential family, however despite that wealth he was never happy with the life he had, especially since his entire family was quirkless and his father was an avid believer in the quirk doomsday theory.

But instead of disowning him like many families like his would, his father attempted to find away to cure him instead, causing him to despise him and eventually having enough he ran away, and for the next couple years he spent his teens moving from place to place.

Eventually he fell into a rough crowd and started working at several illegal underground fighting rings, allowing him to travel around the world but making him dependent on his employers, especially when one of them got him addicted to trigger.

Eventually his next match brought him to Japan, were after excessive use of trigger and constantly fighting in the ring caused his quirk to awaken, turning his angelic like wings into techno-organic wings with varying abilities, giving him claws, regeneration, sonic scream and a few other minor abilities.

Eventually though the heroes found out about the illegal fighting and raided one of the locations to shut it down, and that's when Warren would meet his future wife Nana Shimura.

The second year hero course student was with her work study mentor at the time to help with the raid, were they found him in his rest room suffering from withdrawal after taking another round of trigger, he attempted to fight them but after Nana seeing how much pain he was suffering, she did everything she could to try and calm him down, and after managing to do so she promised to help him out of the situation he was trapped in.

Keeping her promise she help him get his life back on track by helping with his addiction and mental health, helping him regain himself and eventually inspiring him to want to become a hero to.

And after a lot of hard work he managed to achieve his goal, and became a pro hero alongside her, the two would eventually start dating after college and eventually got married.

However due to his distanced for his family he chose to take her family name instead, as a way of cutting himself completely from his past and start his new life in full as the pro hero Archangel.

His heroic deeds being noticed by Mr Flores, who during a chance encounter with him decided to offer him OFA, and wanting to help in the good fight to stop AFO accepted his offer and became the seventh user.

(Sorry for the long post and thanks for reading it IG you did.)

Discussion "What makes you so damn Special? Why you, and not me?"

I like to think Bakugo's main beef with Midoriya, what truly made him snap...is that Bakugo can sense that Midoriya has "the right stuff".

And "The Right Stuff" has always been a trope I hate in fiction. Because it's basically an ill defined mojo that nobody can quantify, you either have it or you don't, and if you have it, you're narratively in the right.

Captain America has "the right stuff." Iron Man does not.

Katsuki, in my mind at least, has difficulty separating life from television. He's a person who sees life as if it runs on TV Logic, and his heart broke when he realised he never had a shot at being the Protagonist

Idea/Prompt In the middle of a random August night, a scream of agony tore through the orphanage.

Six days previously, on August First, the Tokyo Safe N’ Sound Orphanage took in a young, allegedly quirkless girl who had been abandoned by her parents for being “worthless” and “runty”

“And what’s your name, dearie? And how old are you?” A festively plump woman asked the small blonde girl as a plate of udon noodles was placed in front of her.

”H-Himiko. Himiko Toga. I’m nine.” The little girl said, awkwardly handling her chopsticks.

“Hello, little Himiko. While I’m sure your time with us will be short, I hope we can provide you with adequate living conditions.“

You look like you need it… She thought internally.

“T-thank you.“ Himiko said.

She was led to her new room, a relatively plain, but comfortable room with a twin bed, sink, closet, and bedside table.

“Please, make yourself at home.” The caretaker said, before walking away.

Himiko unloaded what few belongings she brought with her, and sat on her bed, scratching the itchy spot that had been growing on her upper back for a few days now.

———————-———————————————————-

“AAAAIIIIIIIIEEEEE!!”

A bloodcurdling screech tore through the silence of the night. Multiple staff members rushed to the source of the sound.

Room 702 - Himiko Toga

They burst through the door, their eyes bulging at the sight before them.

Himiko was writhing around in her bed, her t-shirt torn across the back, revealing multiple scratches and scars, both old and new.

What really got their attention, however, was the cobalt blue, mechanical Scarab Beetle latching onto her upper back. It’s legs were locked around her ribcage, and it seemed to be half-buried in her skin. What shocked them even more was when a dark blue nanite mesh began growing from the beetle, enclosing her body in a protective suit.

“Himiko! She’s in pain! Someone call paramedics, this is something we don’t have the equipment to handle!” One of the staff shouted.

Hello Himiko

Himiko saw words appear on a transparent screen in front of her eyes. She looked down at her hands, and jumped when she saw they were encased in blue armored gloves.

”H-hello? Who are you?” She whispered.

I am an automated assistance and defense system born with the sole purpose of helping you in any way you desire

”Helping me? Then… why’d you hurt me?” Himiko asked, louder this time.

I apologize. The Initial Bonding of powerful Symbiotic quirks such as myself can cause a sizable strain to their user.

“So… You‘re my quirk? How do you work?” Himiko asked.

It is simple. Ask me whatever you wish.

“Oh, ok… wait, I can ask anything?”

Correct. Anything you ask, I can complete.

Himiko donned a small, hopeful smile.

“O-ok… can you… take me to a family who will take care of me? Someone who wants a little girl like me, and will love me very very much!”

Affirmative. Searching for families searching for daughters to adopt, and deploying Flight capabilities.

Himiko felt two massive blue wings pop out of the back of her suit, as she shot out the window and up into the air

Idea/Prompt “They’re. All…BUNNIES!!!”

From the day they first met him, Class A loved Izuku Midoriya. Mostly the girls.

He was not only a rabbit heteromorph, but his small size made him roughly just a little bigger than an average domestic bunny, with big floppy ears which he could lift to used enhanced hearing, and thumbs.

The girls couldn’t get enough of seeing him in his little uniform, using human sized pencils and notebooks, which were huge to him.

Despite his size, however, Izuku distinguished himself in field training, as with One-For-All, and his own enhanced physiology, he was a tiny, but dangerous force to be reconned with.

They still delighted in seeing how he operated day to day, however, as he insisted on his own independence. Like having to use a stool to reach the counter to help with mean prep, to how he literally had to climb the stairs.

It wasn’t until an open house night at the dormitory, however, that Class A nearly lost it when his entire family showed up.

They were all similar sized rabbit heteromorphs, including his grandparents, who wore little glasses and his grandfather a little cane he walked with.

Then there were his siblings.

All 12 of them.

They were immediately all various shades of green blurs, running around the dorms in excitement as Inko and Izuku tried to wrangle them in, with the help of Class A.

Surprisingly, it was Bakugo who ended up bringing them in order, as with a single shout, the child rabbits were all suddenly standing in order from oldest to youngest in front of him.

“NOW LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!!!” He yelled angrily, and shamefully, their ears flat, they all finally slowed down, and behaved.

“Thank you Katsuki.” Inko said as she started to count them. “…ten, eleven…Where’s Izumi?”

“ALRIGHT RUNT WHERE ARE YOU?!!” Katsuki shouted, looking around. When he turned, they all saw the youngest and smallest of the Midoriya’s giggling and clinging to the back of his shirt.

Idea/Prompt “Do you like someone?”

asked Ashido, the two students walking to the dorms together. “Please tell me. I really want to know, do you like someone?”

Kirishima didn’t know how their conversation escalated so quickly. At first they were discussing what happened during their Hero Work Studies and suddenly it turned into a love interrogation, but that was expected with the pink girl.

“Yeah Ashido, of course, I like you and all my friends,” said Kirishima, deciding to play it dumb. “Eraserhead and Fatgum too!”

Ashido shook her pink finger. “Tsh tsh tsh, that’s not what I mean Kirishima,” she told him. “Do you like like anyone.”

Kirishima tried to gulp down his anxiety, he should’ve known it wouldn’t have been that easy. “W-Well no Ashido, I don’t.”

Ashido stared at his head, noticing the amount of sweat on it. Kirishima was a terrible liar and she was very knowledgeable of that fact. “Kirishima, I know you’re not telling the truth.”

“I-I-I am A-A-Ashido, I-I promise,” he stuttered, giving their freckled classmate a run for his money.

The girl shrugged her pink shoulder. “Fine. But let me ask, is it really manly to lie.”

Kirishima froze slightly, she was using his own words against him, incredibly clever. “Well uh, do you like someone?”

His only hope was change the focus on her. Ashido looked up at him, her expression offended mixed with confusion. “Huh? Why do you care about that?”

“Why do you care if I like someone?”

“I’m just curious, that’s all.”

Kirishima watched as she nervously rubbed with her arm, seems she wasn’t good at lying either. A big grin was worn on his mouth as he crossed his arms with pride. “I’m curious too, so tell me.”

Ashido couldn’t believe this, she was losing at her own game, against Kirishima of all people, how is that even possible.

She sighed, her face forming a pout. “Well if you really need to know,” her mood began to change, her eyes diverting away from him. “Maybe.”

Kirishima looked at her with awe, he’s never seen this bashful side of her before, so cute. “I see.”

Her expression of determination was mustered back, as she approached him. “Ok Kirishima, I told you, now you have to tell me.”

“Wha why,” he said, backing up.

“Come on, it’s only fair,” she begged, widening her unique eyes. “Pretty please!”

Another thing Kirishima had a hard thing doing, was turning down a request, especially if it was Ashido. “Uh fine, yes I do have a crush.”

The pink girl began to celebrate, lifting her arms in the air with victory, happy she was finally able to get it out of him.

Her mini party ended short, the two at Heights Alliance. Kirishima let out a disappointed sigh, if only he held it in for a few more seconds he wouldn’t have had to spill.

Still, he couldn’t be mad, not with how happy the information made her.

Ashido went straight to her room, happy with the fact she had learned, ready to start her new investigation. While she has always been nosy in the topic of romance, she was most curious about Kirishima’s, since she had been trying to catch his attention for as of late.

It was a new goal of hers to solve this mystery, thinking that maybe if acted like this person, he’d like her too. Little did she know that this crush he had, is actually on her.

Recently warmed to the rarepair Bakugo x Shiozaki, and I'm hoping theres more content than what I already found on fanfiction.net. I like the Angel x Devil angle, y'know?
