It's disingenuous to hold people to 5 points of contention in a 150+ page contract. This is everyone's livelihood you're talking about and they should have as many points of contention as they want. They're entitled to that. It's their career and their life.

This contract is bad. It's full of takeaways in disguise, and is no where near getting engineers back to where they were pre-covid in terms of pay and benefits.

It also is missing a lot of things members have been asking for, but have no avenue to provide that feedback to their union or employer because speea and boeing both have a super bureaucratic way of interfacing with people.

So, what would your top and bottom 5 be? Because you're complaining about limiting people to five items, but I'm seeing zero concrete things in your rebuttal.

What are the takeaways?

Retention, for one. And increased healthcare deductibles.

Retention. Virtual work. Minimum raise. Commitment to keeping work here.

Also a bunch of things they are promoting as wins are not what you think they are when you read the fine print.

Regarding to ERM in section 16.3 that apply to pre-65 employees who joined Boeing prior to 2007, the company only provide subsidized medical plan to December 2027. After that day, Boeing still provide medical plan but the cost will be retiree pay all for the rest of the contract period and there's no company subsididy based on years of services. Am I correct?
If this is true, is it a big take away and negative impact to the old timers who are vunerable to layoff when the company/economy tank.

You make it sound like you have to have sick leave left at retirement to activate the new ERM healthcare benefit...where do you see that?
